Would you book Sept if you were me?

Its 15yrs since i last went to Majorca but i have been quite unwell this last year and my ex husband ...........I know I cant believe it!!

....has offered to pay for a two weeks all Inclusive holiday for myself and our youngest son (16) !!! How good is that?

my problem is that he really cant afford for us to go high season (he has a new family)but will happily pay for us to go the first 2 weeks in September, will it still be nice weather?

It really is only meant to be a bit of a "pick me up" but i am worried that it might not be as nice weather wise! What do you think?

Make sure when you take out travel insurance that you declare that you have been ill and all pre-existing medical conditions. It could invalidate your policy if you don't.

If you haven't got one already, apply for an EHIC for everyone who is going. You can apply online HERE

My Mum and Dad went to palma for a city break at the tail end of September last year and they said the weather was still nice and warm during the day.

I think you would be absolutely fine to book for September.

Hi ,If you looked a bit further afield and went out of the eurozone you would probably be able to get AI holday in August for the same price,thus avoiding school or college terms if they apply to your son.T.

It should still be very warm first two weeks of september. Also the end of June will be about the same price so you could always go then! Unless it interferes with exams etc!

We always go september when its just the two of us. If we have the grandchildren with us we go may, as we are this year!!What resort are you going to as I see you will be AI? I f you are going to the Don Pedro in Cala San Vicente don't be discouraged by bad reviews. We were there last september and had a great time. Your holiday is what you make it. Have a good time. :cheers

I booked this morning for AI Ray don Jaime Hotel (Santa Ponsa)...................I changed from Don Pedro because i read that there will be a fiesta festival in Santa Ponsa which i thought sounded good............I know it is at the beginning of September but not sure exactly what dates it will start & finish (have put another post up) we will be there from the 4th - 18th Sept, now really looking forward to it. :cheers

We stayed in that hotel a few years ago, we enjoyed the hotel and the food,position of the hotel and the resort position and the weather in september was great.I would be looking foward to it as well

Thanks Shrimper, i read it is really near the beach............is it near enough to carry lilo's etc? oh and it has live football on at the Hotel so son is really happy :tup

very level walk,probably 200 yards approx, if you have a car there is parking outside.if you havent be to Santa Ponso before there is a surprise in the trees to the left hand end of the beach
