seagull,

I would keep an eye on the available flights and see how the prices fluctuate. Once you are happy to pay the advertised price, book them and don't look again!!! 2 - 3 months prior to the departure date is normally the best time to book but given this is a christmas / new year flight, they'll probably hold their value more than usual. It all depends on how quickly the flight gets book up which is why it's important to keep checking.

Thanks Darren,
as we are cashing in our Airmiles, we are restricted to BA so dont expect to see much/any price changes.

If that is the case won't you need to book as early as possible as only a small limited number of seats are released on any particular flight for reward travel?
