Hiya just wondering, is Malta warm at Xmas and New Year and also is ther still bars/pubs etc still open or does everything shut down?
Thanks a lot
The temp' is around 63f. There are plenty of bars and restaurants open.
If you check out this website you can see that in December the temp averages about 15C, there are also an average of 15 rainy days (min 7 max 21) and about 100mm of rain falls on average during the month.
Statistically speaking it's drier than November.

Hi there Sliema2
Not sure about the sliema chalet, maybe.
I go to Malta on monday, staying at the Imperial, if it's any good I'll go there for christmas. I did enjoy the chalet, lovely views from my room, but it was a little quiet there. The bar wasn't open all the time so I had to force myself out to Il-Merril and a few other places. Where are you staying on your next visit.

Hi Alan, we are back in a few weeks staying in our favourite private accomodation in Sliema, however we have stayed in the Imperial twice and had a really good time I'm sure you won't be dissapointed mate, if you go out for a pint in the evenings give the Salisbury on high street a spin and say hi to Tony & Dorothy for us, also the Hole in The Wall at the bottom of high street is also well worth a few Hoppies and Fred is a very friendly chap who will feed you free beer nibbles all night once he gets to know you, the 3 kiosks in front of The Preluna are also a nice place to have a relaxing few beers, have fun whatever you do mate.
Regards
Sliema2
Ps, can't forget Tony's bar if you go tell Mark Galea that we will see him very soon.
