Hi,

Both Sousse/PEK and Hammamet have a reasonable amount of nightlife. I've been to many late bars/discos in Hammamet and in high season these can get very busy and buzzy. I can't really comment personally on the nightlife in Sousse and PEK as I've only stayed here once in low season, but have been told that there's quite a bit of choice here too. However, if it's a serious clubbing scene they're looking for (like Ibiza) then Tunisia may not be the best choice. If it's just plenty of life after dark then there should be enough to keep them happy.

Hi,

In that case it should be fine. If they choose Hammamet most of the nightlife is in the south of Hammamet and in Yasmine. If they want to be right on top of it all there are a few hotels here. A budget option would be the Bel Air, although this isn't on the beach. The Venus also seems quite popular, with nightlife in walking distance, although I'm not sure how much this is used by English tourists. Otherwise taxis are cheap so it wouldn't be a problem to stay somewhere a bit quieter and get taxis to go out.
