Zakynthos and Laganas is fairly clear of cockroaches i think as i've never seen one all the time i've been there.. Probably down to the fact the island has quite a long closed season in the winter..

The Mon Repos apart hotel is situated off the main strip in a slightly quieter part of Laganas although the road outside can be busy with traffic going round to Aghios Sostis via the beach turning area from the Laganas main road.

Shouldnt be a problem with noise just be aware when you are walking to the strip or beach vehicles do get going around here and no pavements last time i passed here and from memory it's a bit of hill and dip down to the strip..

From the beach roundabout (marked "P" parking area) move up the mainroad (grey) and take 1st left The Mon Repos is there on the bendy bit No16

If you want to avoid the strip you can go the otherway past 9 and 12 and this way is quicker to Aghios Sostis and the wooden bridge to the little islet of Sostis.. (used to be a lovely little bakery right on the junction of the two roads by 12) and there's a few nice places along the beach for breakfast etc

Just by No 12 on the road to the beach is the Evgenia apart's and a few super markets / little shops for bits you might need

Do you know your flight times and vacating room times as they can be different.. ..
