The Flora is a very basic but clean apartment block. The food is terrible in fact that bad we only ate once regardless that we paid an extra supplement eat the evening meal. The breakfast was always cold and limited but if you fancy spam and cheese on dried bread 'your LAUGHING' or like my family not so happy at all. The hotel/ apartment is very hot, so ensure you take layers with you not just for ski ing.
The views from out apartment 711 on the 7th floor were fabulous we could see the Gondola route and the slopes at the top of the mountain. The Trees directly behind towered so high into the sky the were magical and even more so when they were full of snow. It is a real shame that the hotel does ambience does not live up to a 4 star accommodation as it does has real potential. It is just so annoying when the hotelier/owners over charge you for what you get. Do not go here thinking that you will get a deal because you will not. Everything comes with a price tag in Borovets never less than 5 levs, eg soft drink 5 levs, a beer 6 levs a water 3-4 levs a bottle of wine (basic) 35/55 levs. You will find that the supermarket in the complex is far cheaper and are the supermarkets in the town. However, ensure you check you change and and your reciept as it appeared that many shops and bars including the Flora made prices up as they went along. Suppose I had to accept that I was in Bulgaria who are not yet in the EU or have similar standards.
