the cleanliness around the hotel pool and beach were clean, the only thing we didn't like were the man hole cover lids around the pool, they would be better if they had no holes in as you could smell them and by the smell i would say it was the sewage pipe, we always found the entertainment to be ok, apart from the bingo (but thats just me)but you can get taxis very cheap and go to sunny beach if you wish, but we found it to be enough, we spent most of our time on the beach which was very nice, plenty beds and space, and the water is so clear, we all had great fun playing in the waves, there's lots of sports on the beach and things to do on the water, all at great prices, but it would benefit from sweeping to get rid of the stones, they have probably been from the building of the hotel, we are looking into going back next year, excellent holiday.

Elenite is a purpose built resort dating back to the mid eighties.

It is approx 15 min taxi drive into Sunny Beach, where all the action appears to be. If you are looking for a very relaxing holiday this is the place to come.

However, evening entertainment is very limited - kids entertainment (in German apparently) in the animation hall, "pub" at the Hotel Royal Park, and as far as we could tell, that's it !

Not one for all night partying. Got to Sunny Beach for that, where (if truth be told) if you ignored the cyrillic script on the signs you could be anywhere on the med.

As for local sites of interest, the Communist regime seems to have completely obliterated most things and it is an average 2 hour drive to the few places of interest to visit.

The resort was pretty clean, you could always see people tidying up after the 'brits abroad brigade' if people just cleaned up after themselves it would be spotless.
We found there wasn't much entertainment for us at all, we tried the 'Irish bar' on just 2 occasions but it's about as Irish as me and should be renamed 'the Labour club'...
The arcades and pool rooms seemed to be full of skally teenagers with fake tracksuits bought from sunnybeach swiggin on bottles of beer.
The beach was fairly clean, again if people would take there rubbish with them it would also be spotless.
The swimming pools need a mention as they are always empty due to the fact you get frost bite when you have a dip, they are to cold to just relax and have a swim about, take the chill off them and they would be full.
The sign says 'no swimming after 5pm'... there empty all day!

We had a good holiday, an experience, but will definitely NOT be visiting Bulgaria again.

Elenite was very safe and secure and ideal for families and couples. There were plenty of sun loungers and parasols on the beach and the weather even in September was fantastic. The all inclusive resort meant you could get a drink or something to eat whenever you wanted throughout the day and there were a couple of mini markets and stalls selling souvenirs.

We took a trip to Nessebur by boat and got a bus to Sunny Beach but most of the time we were happy to relax on the beach in the resort as it was so pleasant.

The beach was private and constantly had ladies picking up the rubbish that people unfortunately don't have the decency of putting in the bins provided. The Pizza hut was great and serve delicious fresh hot pizza all day. My only complaint and again isn't the responsibility of the hotel is the amount of jellyfish!!!

Beach was ok, but to get to the sea you had to walk through a lot of seaweed, there was also quite a few jelly fish swimming around. Resort entertainment was good except for training day, when there was nothing by the FC reps - disappointed we missed the Grease show.
