We arrived at Nessebar without booking any hotel due to it being late in the season. Quite a few hotels were closed. We enquired about a room at the Arsena and were immediately shown a room for our inspection by a very friendly and efficient young woman at the desk. The room was large, clean and with a fantastic view of the sea. It turned out we were the only clients in the hotel so we had it all to ourselves.
Throughout our short 3 day stay the staff we met were friendly, helpful and polite. Even at breakfast we were personally served by 2 staff who again were friendly and efficient.The food was of a very good quality. We both agreed that this visit to Nessebar was the best as far as hotel accomodation. As an example on our first night we were given a radiator heater just in case we felt chilly, I call that thoughtful and excellent service. Also when we arrived I had a slow puncture in a tyre which I mentioned to the young man at the desk in the evening. When we returned from having an evening meal at a Bistro in the town, he had found where I could get this repaired locally - even though I had not asked him. Again thoughtful and efficient.
There was a little bit of building going on around the hotel but I'm sure it will be finished before next year.
