First of all when we booked we thought we would be in a family room however we were put in seperate rooms at opposite ends of the building. We asked to at least have the rooms together so they did.
The room was a complete dump. The first thing I noticed was a dead cockroach just outside the bathroom. Well, I call it a bathroom but all it had was a toilet, a sink and a shower sticking out of the wall less than a foot away from the toilet and the door; which didn't lock as the lock was broken off.
The main part of the room was extremely basic. Two single beds(rock hard), a desk, a seat a cupboard(that could only fit about 5 items) and a couple of bedside tables.
The balcony was tiny. It had two garden chairs and that was it. There was no table and the seperators between balcony's were cracked on both sides.
In the two weeks I was there I only had breakfast once as it was very basic and the 'hot' food served was actually cold.
There was nothing to do in the hotel which made it just a place to sleep at night. When you were in the hotel you were made to feel depressed because of all the glum faces at the reception desk. One one member of staff regularly smiled or spoke to us.
The only positive thing about the hotel was that the bar dounstairs was the cheapest place for buying drinks.
I will never be back to this hotel.

The moment we arrived at Hotel Lulin our hearts sank, the hotel was very basic.
When we got into our room and found the floor covered in ants and the bathroom had another persons dirty underwear in it which we told the staff about immediately, they made no effort to apologies nor remove the underwear infact three days later my partner was asked by the reception staff to take the underwear down to them which we felt was very cheeky it should have been removed straight away.
The woodwork in the bathroom was rotten, absolutely no facilities for babies, when asked if they had something I could bath my 10 month old daughter in they gave us a very small basin and told the rep it was a baby bath they had given us!! We asked if we could have some boiled water to make a bottle for my daughter I was told to see our rep the next day for somewhere to buy a kettle (not a problem to buy a kettle but I needed to make her a bottle that night - babies can't wait). At which point I went to our room crying, we tried to change hotels the next day to no avail the only hotel available was too far from the beach for us as a family.
I would not recommend the Hotel Lulin to anyone who wishes to enjoy their holiday, it ruined it for us.

The Hotel Lulin is a very basic and disappointing hotel despite it's excellent location.
The Hotel food was very basic and there was not a great deal of variety. For the fortnight we spent in this hotel we ate the same things.
Hotel Lulin was not at all what we expected as Balkans gave this a 3 star rating, the hotel's official rating is 2 star. I would go as far as to say it resembeled a 1 star. The room itself consisted of two single beds and a pull out camp bed. Very disappointing decor and door frames etc in poor condition.
The maids came to clean the room every day or two but dirty linen and towels were only collected every 4 days so not up to par.
There was no entertainment what so ever in this hotel but that suited as we spent as little time as possible there.
Neither my family nor I would ever visit this hotel again.
