This was our second visit to amsterdam manor and it was even better than the first.
The hotel accomodation is extremely spacious, we have stayed in both 1 and 2 bedroom suites and other members of our party stayed in a studio. all were beautiful especially after recent renovation work with high quality fashionable fixtures and fittings, flat screen tv in living rooms and bedrooms are an excellent example.
It is a small freindly resort which may lack some of the facilities of the larger high rise resorts but more than makes up for this by its sheer charm.facilities at the lager resorts are readily availible to you anyway so the option of staying in a quiet civilized hotel with fantastic spacious rooms is something i would recomend to any family group.
You can stay all inclusive or room only and whilst the food in the hotel resteraunt is really excellent, I would recomend the room only as it is so easy to dine in either the capital oranjestaad ,which is only a 10 minute bus ride away, or the high rise area, again only a short bus ride away.
During the 4 weeks we have spent in Aruba over the past couple of years we did not have a bad meal, in fact most were really excellent and as they cater for many American visitors you will never leave hungry.
The location of the hotel is also good being just across a small road from the stunning beach and beach bar.
The beach is lovely and uncluttered, areal contrast to a holiday in the med. Another advantage to the med is the weather as you can travel in the height of summer and the temperature is still wonderfully constant as apposed to the stifling heat of august in the med. Aruba doesnt suffer from hurricanes either as it is outside the hurricane belt unlike the rest of the Caribbean.
The hotel staff were also great, couldnt do enough for you and the rooms were kept immaculately clean throughout.
Take my advice visit this hotal you wont regret it.
