The hotel in all is one with no frills. However, the rooms are very clean and a sea view is highly recommended. Beautiful.
The restaurant we found gave a good choice although do not expect cruise line choice or presentation. Tasty food though, especially the fish.
Plenty of choice from the bars, cocktails are gorgeous especially sitting on the wall watching the sun set on the horizon. Banks beer best from the bottle as draught lines never seen to get a clean!!
Location is on the beautiful beach, with a few shops, restaurants and bars very near. Try Karaoke round the corner on Sunday nights, lively!! Classic Bajan musicians play every other night swapping with the cd player.
Overall discovery Bay gives you the same beach front view and lifestyle as the very expensive resort just down the coast. The staff a little miserable but the good ones are fantastic. Gregory is a legend.
We certainly loved this place and would stay there again anytime. Also if anyone plans to get married there like we did then the price will not break the bank and the setting is just perfect.
