First time to Carribean and couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay. The hotel is set down a side road and we were abit apprehensive when the taxi turned down it, but all fears were dispelled when we arrived at the Mango Bay. Walked into reception and was offered a rum punch. A nice start to the holiday.Couldn't fault the food and the afternoon tea was a nice touch.Rooms were kept very clean. The hotel is right on the beach so ideal for early morning dips.Don't forget to take full use of free water activities. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help you. Evening entertainment was ok.Prime Time were very good and the big bamboo man was also good. All in we had a fantastic relaxing holiday a real break from work. Already booked again for next year.

Stayed at the Mango Bay In May 2008 all Inclusive Fantastic! Take suncream factor 50 you will need it, it's the intensity of the sun that gets you.
This is a fairly small hotel which accommodates about 150 people
It is located in Holetown on the west coast,
The Caribbean side of the island. The setting is perfect.
The hotel is right on the beach which is about 10 foot wide. The sand is white and the water is crystal clear and very warm, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. You can snorkel in the Marine reserve which is just up the beach and swim with the fish and turtles among the coral. You can lay on the sunbeds and watch the sunset every day from 6 to 6-30pm.
We stayed in standard rooms which where roomy, very clean and had a queen size bed, bathroom and air conditioning a balcony, television, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hair dryer
dressing gowns and clean beach towels every day
The hotel is in 2 blocks and 3 stories high with a swimming pool, bar and restaurant which were always kept immaculately clean.
The food was fantastic! In the morning you went down for breakfast, cereals, cooked breakfast, tea, coffee
all the usual stuff all well cooked.
At breakfast you booked your lunch and evening meal times. Lunch was waitress service, a three course meal from a menu and occasionaly self service
Evening meals were waitress only from a menu and you had to dress in long trousers and a shirt. All the food was perfectly prepared and presented, it's like eating in a posh retaurant every day. And all the drinks are included, not cheap stuff all named brands and as much as you like.(The bar shuts at 12 midnight)
The hotel staff were amazing, nothing is to much trouble, they are always friendly, always smiling, and very efficient, always up for a laugh and joined in with the jokes.
Included in the holiday was all the water sports, Masks and snorkels, canoes, beach cricket, water skiing, sail boat and pedalo's (The actual ones that Freddie Flintoff took for a ride.)
There were plenty of sunbeds, just the odd ones where people put the towels on early morning and vanished for the day but the hotel were putting a stop to people doing that. Entertainment was provided every night (not brilliant) but entertaining.
If your looking for a first rate hotel the Mango Bay Hotel ticks all the boxes and more.
We hope we can get back again for another holiday and would recommend this place to everyone. Brilliant!

Mango bay was a wonderful hotel, the rooms were clean and had everything we could wish for, staff very helpful. polite and nothing to much trouble for them. Hotel is right on the beach and very good for swimming watersport ect. pedeloes and boat trips included. Meals are selfservice for breakfast and then waitress for lunch and dinner, all very good. Only 60plus rooms so quite small. Holetown has a few good shops for duty free shopping. A wonderful holiday, and would return tomorrow if we could. Virgin were very organised and we would book with them again.
