Breezes is a 50/50 Italian and Cuban owned, 4* hotel. Service throughout is good to excellent. Our room was large and very nice with a huge bed. The whole place is very clean and a very pleasant place to stay and relax.
The buffets serve a good range of food and drinks. The A la Carte's vary, we heard good reports about both when we were there but were not impressed with our meal at La Taberna (it could have been having an off day)
There is a reef with sea grass meadows just off the beach which makes for easy and interesting snorkelling. The fish are very friendly.
They have 3 internet terminals, ($4 per half hour or $8 per hour) which work, but slowly - like most private internet cafes.

We stayed here in Oct 2009, it is a lovely hotel with wonderful views of the grounds. Beautiful beach stretched for miles. The food was ok, in fact not too bad at all. The staff were very pleasant. What I liked was the fact that no screeching kids ran around anywhere, as no kids under 14/15 were allowed. So that was to my liking.
The only downside was it was a bit isolated with Havana an hour away. We had a nice room overlooking the pool (which was lovely) with tea/coffee machine, iron and board. So all in all very pleased with the place.

I only stayed here one night as we were on a charity challenge. It was very lovely, right on the beach and lovely and clean.
No where really to walk to in Hotel vicinity -although you could go for a nice beach walk.
This hotel would be suitable for a wheelchair user as long as they don't need too much aids and equipment.
