Just returned from a week at the Casa Marina Beach this hotel was excellent, before we left I was worried as it is only 3 star but on arrival it beat all my expectations.
The resort itself is well laid out entertainment very professional, plenty of bars along the beach top, the food was excellent with plenty of choice for every taste.
The only fault is the rooms, the phone did not work and this was required as we did not take mobiles and we could have done with a fridge, the bathrooms really need updating but it was liveable no bugs or filth, the cleaners came every day and towels were changed every day.
The weather all week was very hot but the trees provided shade. Beware of the sand on the beach after about 11am you will burn the soles of your feet as its that hot wear good shoes to protect yourself.

We had a wonderful two week honeymoon at this hotel.
The accommodation was lovely and spacious and very clean.
The food was very nice there was loads to choose from and it changed daily. The alacarte restaurants were especially nice. The Italian was great.
We joined the reps on there free "walkabout" tour of Sosua, we would reccomend this as it shows you the best place to go in town for shopping etc...
We never left the hotel in the evening but other guest informed us the town was very safe and they never felt threatened.
The roadside sellers can be a bit pushy but a firm NO usually solved this.
All in all it was wonderful. Reasonably priced, fabulously warm and lovely hotel.

We stayed at the Casa Marina Reef from April 11th-25th.
The hotel itself is great, very clean with maid service every day. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant.
The food was good and you always found something you liked. The drinks and cocktails were lovely although not that strong.
We had 4 days of torrential rain but still came back home with our best tan ever. But beware there are 2 beaches, 1 at the reef and 1 at the beach side of the hotel. The waves are extremely strong and can take your feet from under you and I would not advise young children being left to play alone.

Hotel and complex very clean. Rooms cleaned every day, and external areas sprayed daily with anti mozzy solution. However complex in need of refurbishment, is showing signs of years of use.
Food of good quality, with lots of variety, only downfall is it's not very hot, and no microwaves to reheat.
Location is brilliant, 20 mins from airport, and close to other areas of interest.
Hotel staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, always friendly, and just want you to have a good holiday.
Kiko team very entertaining but not pushy. Don

When we arrived at the hotel we were quite impressed, having travelled no further than spain on previous holidays we didn't really know what to expect, we were pleasently suprised.
The staff were all friendly and very welcoming which is just what you need after such a long flight.
I found the hotel very clean there was never any signs of rubbish or dirt, one bad side that I particulary found hard to adjust to was the fact that the food all tasted sweet due to the fact the food is cooked in fruit juices and coconut oils.

This was our first time to this hotel and it was the best holiday ever.
There was always loads to do and the beach was gorgeous. If we wasn't on an excursion we were on the beach! the sea was gorgeous and it wasn't rough at all when we went.
Our room was right next to the pool so we just went out the patio way to go swimming.
The food was lovely and the mexican restaurant was really good ( you have to book in a advance as it is a la carte and you only get one booking per week )
You have little market sellers that come every other night to the resort but make sure you haggle the prices because they do start off very high.
The entertainment was brilliant and you can tell a lot of thought goes into it. make sure you get your seat early as it does fill up!
Being able to use all facilities of the Casa Marina reef meant you have a choice of three pools so you could never get bored.
All the bars are really good and the range of drinks you can have in the all inclusive is amazing!!! Cocktails from ten in the morning till ten at night!
The rooms are basic but i didn't come on holiday to stare at four walls, i was only in the room to shower and sleep.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and i would definatley recommend this hotel if you want a excellent holiday!
Would definitley go again!
