We went on our honey moon and stayed for 14 nights. We had a briliant holiday. The food was great the staff couldnt do enough for us.Our room was great with a sea view. We never got bored. Its 99% americans. We were the only irish there. We would recommend any bob marley fan to go to 9 mile.We also took a trip to the dunnes river falls.Overall the whole holiday 10/10 and we are looking forward to go again next year

Well Just got back from a Surprise holiday to this resort.
What have I got to say:
1 I will never do Sandals again, what a rip off. I have stayed at 4 different hotels in Mexico (Not Sandals) and they knock spots of this place.
2 Pay

We stayed at Sandals Royal Carribean - Montego Bay
Definately not of the standard featured in their promotional literature - building work going on (not specified at time of booking)for 4 days solid - the noise was unbearable.
Rooms overrated & in need of a facelift - no air conditioning in public bars/rooms
no waiter service for drinks - one bar open at night with only 2-3 staff to serve approx.400 guests.
Entertainment stops at 10:30 p.m most nights apart from disco, no shade around pool areas(i.e no parasols)
and limited shade on beach - food not gourmet as advertised and often arrived late/cold.
The private island was scruffy & unkempt.
The main pool area was small and dominated by the scuba diving instructors & their pupils and pool vollyball.
We were moved from the pool area at around 4:00 p.m on two or three occasions for the evening buffet tables to be erected.
For the amount of money that we spent we certainly did not receive what we expected. Would not recommend this resort at any price!
Correspondence has been sent to that effect to the Sandals company.

I have never met such a friendly, helpful bunch of staff in my life.(what out for Chad, mad man!!) Every single one of them went way out of there way, to help with anything.
The food was excellent with plenty of choice.
We travelled with a group of which a couple got married. The wedding was very good and not at all rushed. The bride and groom were both made to feel very special.
Here comes the bad bit. Our room was upgraded (to a premium room)and not at all what you would expect. They were in need of decorating with no cupbroad doors or mini bar. The bathroom wanted ripping out. However the people that had the standard rooms had lovely rooms. They were all just so different. One room had a tiny bathroom and the one next door that a huge bathroom with a bath that would fit 6 people in.
The main pool area and beach were very nice but did get very busy but there was always plenty of room around the quiet pools.
The island has a nice Thai restaurant but in the day it is a discrace.
In general its a nice hotel with a lot (99%) americans. Unless you can afford to upgrade rooms to at least a grande luxe room dont bother.

Beautiful hotel with very spacious rooms with well stocked mini bar.
Staff very friendly and so polite and nothing too much trouble for you.
Lots of water sports to do spoilt for choice.
Im a fussy eater and I thought I wouldn't like the food but there was plenty to choose from and some plain dishes aswell.Well done! Stay at 1 hotel dine at 3 thats a good deal as the other hotels were lovely aswell.Means u can get out and about at no extra cost!
Entertainment was very good very lively mainly singers which is good as gets you up off ya seat.
The hotel is located near Airport but it wasn't that bad but sandals montego bay is right next to it, pleased I wasn't at that hotel the hotel is just directly across road from runway!
I would deffo go back to this hotel I didn't want to come home!!

Everything about this hotel was good, very friendly staff at all times, even when staggering back to your room in the early hours.
Food was plentiful and hot, very varied menu's in 5 restaurants plus the use of the other Sandals hotels in the area.
As for location, a little out the way but transport not a problem if you wanted to get out.
Entertainment was good for Caribbean all inclusive, not tacky at all.
Rooms are of a very good standard with a well stocked mini bar.
Well worth a visit even if it is a 10 hour flight, from the moment you check in at the Sandals desk at the airport till the moment you leave you could not have been treated any better.
