The resort was kept immaculate and as we were there for 2 hurricanes the staff worked like trojans to ensure the everything was made safe and put back to normality as soon as the storms had passed.
The beach was the only critism I have of the whole holiday as , although staff cleared the incoming seaweed on a daily basis. The sea was cloudy and when you went out further it felt like you were treading in jelly.
Apart from this I would definately reccomend this hotel although we would not visit again , but that is something I would never do anyway as we are of the opinion that there are other places in the world we would want to visit.
I can only say we as a group had a fantastic holiday and will treasure all the memories of this hotel for many years to come.

I could not fault the resort as it was so clean the people very friendly and wherever you go its always " no problem" " dont worry " or "yeah mon ".Very relaxed atmosphere and not for anyone wanting a lively holiday.
The main problem was the lack of entertainment. The hotel didn cater for that so we tried to see if there were any trips in the evening to go on.
The beach was like one of the stunning sceneries you see.tghe water was crystal clear and the beach was cleaned from seaweed every day.
All in all great holiday.Jamaica is a must do even if its only for the reggae and the rum.

We never made it to the resort - no way of getting there from the Holidat Inn except taxis at a high price

Hotel is very much isolated and costs 20 dollars each way by taxi to montego bay.

The hotel grounds are stunning nothing out of place just perfectly manicured lawns.
Bins were always being emptied staff incredibly polite all the time, waiters always on hand all day to bring you more inclusive drinks etc including on the beach - no faults at all.
The pool/water park/lazy river was immaculate too plenty of large yellow rings for floating round the lazy river never had a problem getting one of them but we soon found out on our first day that if you did not get your towels/belongings onto sunbeds by about 6.45 am you could not get a bed anywhere near the pool at all - and this applied every day for our 14 day stay! I found myself waking up early to do this - which I have never known anywhere before - again large wedding parties were there who would send a couple of members of the party down to get 10/12 beds and not turn up until about lunchtime to claim them and they liked to have an umbrella per bed but really you only need 1 unbrellas for 3/4 beds they are big enough! With young children it was important to be reasonably near to the pool to be able to keep an eye on them.
The beach was fine but the water wasn't as clear as we had expected and had seen much better on other caribbean islands- I thought the Beach in Dubai was far superior - but nothing wrong as such. Plenty of sunbeds. There were lots of weddings going on here on a daily basis which were nice to watch.
The only thing I would say is they do say that the dress code in the two al a carte restaurants should be trousers and shirt with a collar for men and in the italian restaurant there were a couple of men in jeans and t- shirts which I thought was wrong but they did allow them in. There were also a couple of larger groups that arrived wearing Arsenal football shirts and shorts out in the evening and were making the most of the all inlcusive drink plan sometimes at the top of their voices.
Not sure which other tour operators sell holidays to this resort. These groups seemed to be with wedding parties who from time to time seemed to think they had hired the entire resort! which of course they hadn't.

Montego Bay is ok on the strip (ie tourist areas) but pretty tacky downtown.
There is entertainment spots for virtually every taste from the casino to bars. We went to Margaritaville (free bus and entrance from most nearby hotels)on Ladies night and it was fab, danced until 3am!
Beaches are clean and well maintained (where you pay).
Shopping is good and you can get some good jewellery bargins if you haggle (remember the gold is 14ct so will be more expensive than the UK.
You could also try visiting the West Indian Art gallery for pictures rather than the street vendors for a quality painting at not much more cost.
We found that booze at the airport was almost as cheap as stores.

When we arrived at the reception we were asked for our credit card incase any charges were made on our room... We found this hard as we dont have credit cards for personnal use, so were lucky that we had one of our business cards with us, be aware of this as we were not told we would need this! One family was told on check inthat if they could not check him in if they did not have a card (not sure how they worked it out!)
We arrived at the Wyndham with open eyes, evan after a 10 hour flight... the views from the terrace bar was amazing...
Our Rooms were clean and bright with a lovely view over the golf course. Make sure you request a high floor with golf course viewing or you will be stuck behind lots of trees on ground floors with no view. Or you may get views overlooking the pool area where they occasionally have entertainment which canbe loud especially if youhave kids.Easy access to all floors with the lifts on both sides of the building.
The best part of this holiday was definatley the water park. There is something for everyone at the water park, lazy river, jaquzzi, slides. etc etc..Kids had much fun in there and we never saw them all day which meant we could relax too. Beach was lovely with clear warm waters. Water Park bar was a bit of a nightmare getting drinks
The most down fall about the wyndham was the lack of evening entertainment. Come 10pm and it went quiet... you could go to the Cricket Club disco but kids not allowed after 10pm, so the only bar available was the terrace which never seemed to have much of an atmosphere.
They did have some entertainment evenings which were great but you had to "find" were they were and if you eat late like we did you missed half of it!
Can only comment on the breakfast which was lovely and the "cafe" resturant where the food was excellent.
An excellent hotel but if it did not have the water park it would only be an average hotel.

The beaches were tidied regularly everyday and there was never a sign of rubbish or seaweed.
Crystal blue waters and warm sun - what else is there?
Be sure to be firm with the local tour 'experts'.

We stayed just outside Montego Bay town visited it regularly. People very friendly but can be demanding.
Good night clubs if you want to leave the hotel
The scenery here is just amazing. A holiday of a lifetime and I would recommend here to anyone
