This hotel is in an excellent location, on an island just off the Rovinj coast with a regular ferry service to the mainland. It is like being on an idyllic island. Flew from Luton and only 2 hours.
Hotel itself is very modern, has 2 larger pools and 2 smaller childrens bathing pools, various bars and some sporting activities although we travelled late in the season the hotel was not so busy with less activities on. The evening entertainment is almost non existent apart from the occasional singer or pianist.
Rooms are excellent, bathrooms good and every room appears to have a superb sea view.
The food is ok but not brilliant - buffet style with plenty of choice both at breakfast and evening meal although a little bit like school dinners at times. We even had sprouts and carrots for breakfast much to the russian's delight. There is a separate restaurant which serves a la carte although you pay for this albeit have one night free to dine.
The holidaymakers are either russian, croatian or british with the hotel speaking good english.
The beach is pebbles and not sand but the sea clear and quite warm. The is another smaller island attached which is worth a visit.
The holiday itself was excellent although travelling later in september the weather was a little mixed with one day of rain. Otherwise in 70's and hot with some cloud.
Notwithstanding the comments about the food, I would certainly visit again. The rooms are excellent, there is plenty of food and some very good and the location is out of this world.
All in all well worth a trip.

This hotel was more like a 5 star hotel, we could really and truthfully fault nothing. The rooms were excellent and the maid service was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
The choice of food was excellent, we all enjoyed the very varied choice. The location was out of this world, we live in North Wales so its hard to impress us- but we were impressed, very impressed! The hotel staff were excellent!! Nothing was too much trouble, they were very polite and very friendly.
The entertainment was a bit lacking on some nights but it didn't bother us too much. Yes we would without a doubt love to go back- possibly next year and in future years. We had a wonderful, peaceful, truly happy family holiday with some really wonderful memories.
