We spent 2 weeks in this hotel at the beginning of May,which offers an enviable location overlooking the Marina and the old town. When we arrived we were given a small double room with a compact bathroom and wardrobe space about 18" wide with a small amount of shelving.Ideal for someone on their own staying for a few nights. After having paid a supplement for a good sea view we only had a side sea view from the balcony. There was only 1 chair in the room. After talking to other guests who hadn`t paid a supplement & had large sea view rooms,we took the matter up with our courier and as a result were moved to a large front seaview suite with a magnificent view & ample wardrobe space. The staff were all most attentive throughout our stay and made us very welcome.
The self service restaurant had a beautiful location but the food was repetitive and at the end of the first week we had tired of it.The breakfasts were mundane not helped by a non functioning toaster to share among nearly 400 guests.
During the second week of our stay when the hotel was full it was difficult to find anywhere to sit in the lounge and you were forced to share in the restaurant
[we didn`t mind but some guests did].
We wouldn`t return to the Hotel Park.

I would return, as I agree with the positive comments.
But beware the gulls swooping down on the breakfast balcony to grab food from unattended tables.

Nine of us spent a superb holiday at the Park Hotel in
October 07.
The food was excellent, plenty of choice, and frequently replenished.
We all had sea views and overlooking the Old Town
of Rovinj which was spectacular, especially at night when we all gathered for a pre-dinner drink on one
of the balconies.

Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and resort for a very relaxing holiday.
All staff, from the maids to management were extremely friendly, helpful and could speak good English.
Our room which was very clean, was to the side of the hotel, but we would recommend a room overlooking the pool and harbour with the view of Rovinj in the distance. (View of Rovinj peninsular excellant).
The restaurant was clean, food good and the staff helpful and friendly. It also looked out over the harbour and Rovinj town which we found just magical as the evenings drew in.
Early breakfasts could be arranged through Reception for those guests going on excursions.
However, we could not understand why in some brochures this hotel was classed as 3 star. In our opinion it should be rated 4 star.

Adding to what has already been said in other reviews - we had a great time here.
It has a fabulous location overlooking Rovinj. You can walk one way into the town, or the other way to find the beaches (rocky). There are also parkland walks. The hotel is used by guests from many countries so it has an international feel. The reception staff speak good English.
The hotel was spotlessly clean.
The room was fine, with plenty of storage space, and in the bathroom liquid soap and shower gel were provided, also a hairdryer. There was no drying rack on the balcony though for towels etc. There is a small fridge/minibar which you are allowed to use for your own stuff as well (free). Safety deposit boxes in the reception area are hireable, about

Just arrived back from Rovinj after a fabulous holiday.
The Park Hotel is first class in every way. From the first moment we arrived around mid-night to be met by friendly staff who had prepared a late meal for us was just the start of a memorable time.
The hotel room was comfortable, cleaned every day and fresh towels provided daily with hand and shower liquid provided. Air-conditioned and satellite TV were included in the price. We paid an extra amount to keep the room until 6p.m. on the day of departure as we had a late flight.
The hotel food was very nice, plenty of choice, variety of menu and hot when meant to be. Fresh fruit was available at meal times, veggies were well catered for and the dining room was well run.
The hotel is situated within strolling distance of the village in one direction and has a wonderful scenic stroll along the sea front in the other direction around the tree-lined bay.
The hotel staff were friendly and polite at all times.
The entertainment team does their utmost to help you enjoy your time, lots of activities if you wanted to get involved...Archery, rifle and pistol shooting etc all free of charge. Evening entertainment was provided every day in the form of a different band each night with the entertainment team adding their bits and local folklore spots kept things going in the hotel.
The situation of the hotel was excellent and the views from our room idyllic, overooking the marina across the bay to the town set on the edge of the bay.
I'll be back.
