Just returned form a two week stay at the Afrodita and I have to say this is an excellent hotel. The place is spotlessly clean, the food is wonderful and the staff are all so friendly. There is limited entertainment in the evening but who wants to be stuck in the hotel in the evening when Tucepi is such a beautiful resort. I am planning to return in 2011 to celebrate my 50th with a group of friends.

The hotel has recently been refurbished in May 2005 - previously being self catering accomodation.
The room sizes were excellant (ours was a twin with sofa bed). From the start of the holdiay greeting on reception right through to departure there is not a bad work I could say about this hotel.
Staff very friendly, kids club rep had a multitude of experience - from entertaining the children, aqua aerobics for everyone, kids mini disco and adult entertainment.
Rooms were cleaned daily, with change of towels. There was a good choice of food, that you just had to keep going back for more. (i have put on 5 pounds in weight!!!!) The pools are cleaned daily and are of an excellant standard.
The beach is just a stones throw away. In the evening youi can either stay at the hotel poolside and enjoy the entertainment there or take a stoll (all be it very busy), along the sea front, where there are a fair amount of bars and places to eat.
A fantastic time had all round from myself to my husband and 3 year old son. At the moment there are not many English tourist, (though we met a few families), that were at the hotel where we stayed as Croatia is just begining to introduce itself back to the British Holidaymaker.
The best holiday so far that I have had in my 20 years of holidayin abroad and definatley the most cleanest sea, taht I have ever seen.
I recommend that you go to Croatia and experience it first hand.
