We stayed at this hotel for a week.
The resort is spot on but this is not a 5 star hotel. The room had marks up the walls and the carpet could have done with a good clean.
The beach sunbed area and gardens were very untidy and not what we were used to.
We will not use this hotel or tell our friends to use it. Not very good value for money and not as discribed, this is a 3 star and anyone who thinks otherwise has never used 5 star before.

We stayed at the Allion beach 5 star hotel Oct 05.
The problems we had were, 2 days with no hot water when we complained we were told it was not just us none of the rooms had hot water.
The sunbeds have a tag system, we ended up on a bit of waste ground covered with litter and no bar service. The gardens were in a very poor condition and the room also was in need of a clean up and a paint. When we complained to the reception we were told this is the last week of the season and all will be fixed for next year, this was of no help to us and we got no where with Thompsons.
We have holidayed in Cyprus for the past 15 years and have stayed at most of the four and five star hotels in the area and this was as by far the worst

My husband and I stayed at the Alion Beach hotel in Aya Napa. The hotel is immaculate the staff are better than 5* there are one or two small items that could be better the sunbeds need cleaning and the garden does need a little attention.
The breakfast room is on the small side especially when the hotel is full as it was when we visited but there is a terrace to have breakfast if you can stand the humidity.
When we asked the reception staff for good places to eat they gave us a map and marked them for us and not one recommended place let us down.
You note that we would not visit this hotel again its not the hotel we dislike but Aya Napa itself for the number of tourists who visit each year it sadly needs a facelift.

This hotel cannot be faulted. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome - the staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered in Cyprus. You are asked to sit down whilst you check in and are given a complimentary drink of your choice. We had a sea view room with a balcony and side window that both overlooked the beach and gardens. Although the breakfast room is small you are spoilt for choice, continental, full english, fruit and champagne every day. The hotel is spotlessly clean, as is the pool area and gardens. A sunbed reservation system is in operation and works perfectly. The hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the harbour but there are bars and restaurants nearby.
