This was our 3rd visit to Tasia Maris Gardens, but the 1st time all-inclusive.
Apartments- Nice to see they kept all the self-catering facilities, ground floor apartments had double bed and a patio, 1st floor had twin beds and a balcony. Cleaned daily with towels and bedding changed too. 6 Euros per night for air conditioning in lounge, bedroom is free, 20 Euros for TV remote (fully refundable) and 10 Euros per week for safe hire.
Location- Excellent location, around the corner was Sandy Bay, Nissi Beach was a 10 minute walk along the coastal path, Ayia Napa centre was about 20 minutes walk.
Pool- Lagoon style pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Depth ranged from 0.8 metres to 1.5 metres. Also has a separate Jacuzzi and a baby pool.
Service- Exceptional! All staff from cleaners to management were very friendly and efficient and made you feel special.
Food/ Drinks- What can I say? All meals were excellent. Buffet style breakfast and evening meal, with lunch from a set menu. Portions from the menu were enormous and the buffets had something for the fussiest eaters. A choice of 3 beers, soft drinks and a large range of spirits and cocktails. Water was also included in all inclusive.
Entertainment- We felt this was the only thing that let this complex down. Kids Club seemed to be just very young kids, teenagers seemed to just do their own thing, but were always pleasant and polite and helped keep some of the younger kids entertained. The 9-12 age group seemed to run riot, pushing each other and anyone else who got in the way into the pool. This was made worse by Georgi, the entertainment organiser, handing out water bombs, which were thrown at anyone!
Evening entertainment comprised of bingo, karaoke, quizzes, a parrot show, a magician and making paper planes. Nothing for the kids, who ran about unsupervised, shouting, screaming and kicking footballs against the apartments while their parents sat in the bar. To be honest there wasn't enough room in the bar area for the kids.
Would we return again- Definitely but we would probably avoid the school summer holidays.
