Although not a very large resort, Coral Bay had everything we needed. A variety of shops/supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There was also a couple of nightclubs, but we did not visit these.
I would definatly recommend eating in the Coral Chinese and the Elephant Restaurant, the food was lovely, and also vist Cleos for some lovely cocktails.
The beach was a 10 minute walk from our hotel but was lovely. The beach was clean and the sea very clear. The sunbeds were widely available and were around 6euros for 2 with a parasol. There were also a selction of restuarants by the beach.
The bus service between Coral Bay runs all day until about 11pm and costs 1euro 35cents to the harbour, and the buses run about every 15 mins.
All in all Coral Bay is a very nice resort and i will definately return there and to the Neptune Apartments.

We enjoyed visiting Coral Bay although did not have enough time to fully evaluate it. There was a lovely scenic coastal walk and everywhere flowers bloomed in abundance. The sand at Coral bay was beautifully soft and not stony. The no. 15 bus to Paphos was very reliable and ran along the coast on one side and had views out to the mountains on the other. We did not have time to explore much do as we bought a house and have decided to move here permanently! Maybe that will show how good we thought the area was.

Coral Bay shopping and taverna area was spread along the main road. Quite a busy little area but crossing points making it safe to cross the road.
Plenty of buses into Pafos town centre and its market or to the old harbour area. Cheap travel and running about every 10 minutes.
There were ample trips to book, two good ones were to the mountains and the monastery, and one of the many boat trips along the coast.

Very poor standard of cleanliness and in urgent need of decoration. Room not cleaned once during stay.

If you lke bingo and quizes you should be fine as this was the entertainment - did have a few singers but poor.

Beach was ok but not accessable to those who have difficulty walking or the elderly.

The resort was very clean. All the bars and eating places had lovely toilets (much better than Greece!) There was a variety of bars and eating places and the food was excellent. The beach was nice....really comfy sunbeds and the water was very clear. Some watersports were provided too. I loved Coral Bay!

Small strip of restaurants, bars and the usual shops selling the usual holiday gifts.Bus stops are close by so no problem getting around and cheap to use.Worth hiring a car if you can, cheap rates, cheap petrol and the island's worth seeing.

We chose this hotel for its location within the Coral Bay resort, as there are plenty of shops, bars etc. within easy walking distance, and a frequent bus service to Paphos.
During our second week we hired a car from Europcar, booking through the Thomson helpline. We found this really expensive, and I’d recommend booking a hire car in UK before a visit to Cyprus.

We didn't visit Coral Bay beach so we can't comment. I would definately reccommend hiring a car as there are some great beaches off the beaten track.
Coral bay resort is basically a strip of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Cyprus is very hot in August and personally I would recommend holidaying earlier in the year to fully appreciate the sites and activites the island has to offfer.
Drinks and meals were very expensive!

The daytime entertainment was varied and some members of the entertainments team were fantastic, a huge well done to the enthusiasm of Adam and Laura Mac. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas every day. Evening entertainment was good, we loved the bingo! Only a 5 min walk into Coral Bay with lots of shops. Went out for a lovely meal in the evening which was fantastic. If you are thinking of the Ascos, then go you will love it expecially as it is an adults only hotel!!!
