Fantastic Hotel with great food and Fantastic staff.
The only let down is the lack of entertainment at night in the Hotel.
Great kart track just up the road and also a mini golf course. We found this to be the best Hotel around this area of Paphosand would go back again very soon, the new Hotel being built next door is going to be a superior Hotel to this one (owned by the same people)so can't waight to see what it turns out like.
Take a trip up the mountains and come down via the unmade roads,Very scary.
Had great weather in April two weeks of warm and dry weather, not too hot.
Come here and you will have a great Holiday.

Have visited the Athena Beach for the last 3 years, and can thoroughly recommend it. It is situated on the west coast of Cyprus in Paphos. It sits on a man made beach and is approx 2km to the centre of Kato Paphos. There is a supermarket, restaurant, Bank of Cyprus and Opticians just across the road.
The staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Rooms are airy, with tea & coffee making facilities and you also have a fridge. This can be used as a mini-bar on request. However, as there is an on site supermarket, you may find it more useful, for chilling your own drinks. Each room has self controlled air conditioning (but remember to keep your balcony door closed). The rooms also have hair dryers, safe and satellite TV. 24 hour room service is also available. The food on room service is very good and excellent value for money.
There are four outdoor swimming pools and one indoor. The two large swimming pools have Jacuzzis. Tennis courts are also on site and a small children

Spent 2 weeks at the Athena Beach in 2 interconnecting sea-view rooms and would return again without hesitation.
Hotel is large but grounds are huge with lovely gardens running right down to a private beach. Sandy beach is kept beautifully clean but is a bit rocky as you go into the sea itself but there are jetties and moored pontoons to allow you to swim easily.
Plenty of shady palm & banana trees in the grounds to keep out of the sun if you need to and pools are very large and spotlesly clean. Beach towels can be signed out daily from the spa (poolside strawberries and cream at 3.30pm are worth every penny).
Rooms are a good size with dressing gowns and daily maid service but a high floor sea view is a must & worth the extra cost. Go B&B as breakfast good but repetitive evening buffet a bit hit & miss and local restaurants are great (Cavallinis Italian is 200m away & excellent but you need to book. Chinese & Ribshack next door also very good). Staff overall very helpful and hotel kept spotlessly clean. Do not hire a car from their recommended leaflets (Shikkis Hire) as they are awful. After taking our Shikkis 4x4 death trap back and getting a refund (just) we used Pafo rentals in the shopping complex next to the hotel - great service and brand new 4x4 (essential for a must do off road trip to Turtle Beach or the Troodos mountains).
Would go back tomorrow & don't worry about the new hotel being built next door - its nearly finished and a long way off and you dont see or hear anything. Eveneing entertainment low key with a couple of Cypriot dance nights and a nightly piano bar but plenty going on in Paphos which is 5mins away on the bus which stops outside the Hotel every 10mins & lots of restaurants/bars in walking distance.
