Just returned from a lovely family holiday with our Grandchildren and their mother. We were very happy with our adjoining rooms with interconnecting door and sea views.

I should comment that there looks as though there is a major building work about to start next door on some waste ground. It is big enough to be another hotel.

The food was very good with plenty of choice and a childrens section for dinner if required.

The pool was very nice and the water warm. Both Grandchildren had ear infections towards the latter end of the holiday, my Grandson was in so much pain we had to take him to the private clinic. The total cost with taxis fare and presciption was over

Had a lovely, chilled fortnight at the Imperial.

Food was good. Slightly repetitive but excellent choice. We recommend you go to the weekly barbeque.

High standard of cleanliness.

Location fine.

Staff very helpful, any problems were dealt with immediately, not that there was anything to complain about.

Had a struggle to get my husband to venture further than the bar, nothing to do with the fact that all the young waitress's were very pretty!!!

The entertainment staff good plenty for all the family to do during the day, only if you wanted to. A wide variety of entertainment in the evenings. Especially the "Bingo Bango" the hotels a good choice for families and couple's but I was glad our 17yr old son hadn't come with us.

We would certainly choose the Imperial again.

My partner and i stayed at the Louis "Imperial Beach" hotel, for our wedding which was part of the Thomson's package.

On arrival we noticed how well kept the hotel looked both inside and out. The place was bright uncluttered and very pleasing on the eye.

The rooms had some excellent views overlooking the sea, pool or in our case both.We stayed on an half board basis and the food was very nice and also varied from day to day.Because we went over with family and friends who we wanted to meet with for meals in the evening the hotel allowed you to change your evening meal for a lunch time meal at no extra cost, which we found very convienient.

The hotel was about a 20-25 minute walk down to the harbour in the town centre along a coast road, but there where plenty of places along the way to stop off in for a beer or three. There was also a regular bus service running every 10 minutes to take you into town at the cost of only 60 cents.

The staff were very helpful and did there utmost to sort any problems or questions we had, they were very polite and the service was excellent also, there was plenty of daytime entertainment for both young and old alike, incl archery, pool, etc for adults to jnr darts for the kids, along with evening entertainment for all as well.

My wife and i will most definitely be visiting this hotel again, probably for an anniversary or two.

We stayed at this hotel in October Half Term 2004. The hotel was great. We couldn't fault it. We went with my sister and brother-in-law and our 13 year old son.

We had asked when booking for a proper single bed in our room for our son who at only 13 is 6ft tall so a camp bed was not suitable. We had been assured by Cosmos (hopeless) that we would have 3 proper beds but of course on arrival the 3rd bed was a childrens sized camp bed! I went down to reception and in no time at all we had a divan base and proper mattress no trouble at all.

The hotel staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble.

The food was good and if anyone complained they would complain at anything.

The pool area was good and although the sunbeds soon got taken here there was always space in the gardens, although in July/August that might not be the case but there seemed to be plenty.

The evening entertainment was poor but the daytime animation team were really good. Our son had the time of his life.

We were there for one week and hired a car for 3 days which was a mistake really as our son had literally to be prised from the hotel.

We used to enjoy a walk onto the harbour on an evening (about 30-45 mins walk) stopping for drinks along the way.

We all felt really comfotable here. We loved Cyprus And loved this hotel.

We're going to Greece this year but the hotel will have a lot to live up to. I must admit I could have come back here instead!

Just got back , great hotel , it made our holiday, the pool and gardens are lovely. Sevice was great, very friendly staff.
Some areas could do with a bit of refurbishment .ie indoor pool and play area. The entertainment was ok. Seen worse ,seen better.
Thats just being really picky ,we all loved it and would go back although did here rumours of building work that might start on the side pool area at the end of the year.but thats all it could be RUMOURS.

Building work going on while we were there on the other side and it made no difference whatso ever.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Imperial and would recommend it to couples and families. Do not book it though for the free watersports as mentioned in the Thomson brochure, they are on the beach but are not free, or the 'Gym' that had one broken weights machine, one barbell, 2 steppers, 1 broken and an excercise bike, all in an awful small room. If we went back we would also only have bed and breakfast, the food was ok but did not vary enough to eat there every night. We felt the variety of the resterants a short stroll away into Paphos in the evening would have been a better choice. We found the daytime entertainment something to look forward to, the team encouraged us to take part but were never pushy or over loud. We found the rooms large enough for the three beds and there was plenty of storage space. I belive anyone would enjoy staying there and I would be very happy to book to go back tomorrow.

The louis is very clean, the food was good, but went out a few times for a change. You will need to walk about 30 minutes to the centre, bar street and the harbour. The staff at the hotel are very friendly, and will do anything to help. The hotel over all was lovely but the rooms when full are really small.

This was our 10th visit to the Imperial over an 8 year period. The refurbishment has improved the overall comfort of the hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious especially if only 2 of you. The grounds are the hotel's best feature as it is always easy to find sunbeds and shade whatever the time of year. The food is good but always the same menu style on a specific day of the week - it has been this way for the last 8 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful and it is always good to see the same faces every visit - if the staff like working there it is usually a good sign. The indoor pool is in need of an update and more lounge areas - especially quiet areas - would be a bonus. Overall the Imperial has tried to keep up with its more up to date neighbours but its 4 star rating is somewhat lacking when compared to the Athena (next door) and the new 4 star hotels built around it. However taking all this into account we like the place and will be visiting again in September and November.

Fantastic Hotel! We went to Cyprus to get married and couldn't have picked a better hotel. The kids loved the entertainment, there was plenty to do. Jet Ski's on the beach just behind the hotel plenty of activities. The entertainment staff were very freindly and the hotel staff were more than helpful. Location was a bit out of the centre of Paphos, probably 30 minute walk to the harbour area, but there were plenty of Taxi's. Food a bit repetative but there was usually something for everyone. Hotel itself very well kept. Gym wasn't up to much though!!
