The hotel is okay and the the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately there is a new road being constructed just 2-3 metres from the outdoor pool and my 6 month old baby was covered in building dust from the trees separating the pool and the construction site.
The entertainment was non existent at night except for the karaoke machine that some British holiday makers operated one night. We were led to believe that the entertainment had been cancelled due to the fact that the Hotel wasn't full because of the road, a bit worrying considering it was the height of the summer season.
I do feel a bit guilty writing this as the Hotel staff really were excellent

We booked half board for 14 nights.
The food was very nice but felt that the choice was limited.
The hotel staff could not have been friendlier and were very helpful with any queries that we had.
The childrens room had air conditioning that broke down and the staff did all they could to fix it.
We hired a car from the hotel at a very reasonable price.
Enjoyed the holiday and would definitely go there again.

Paphiessa is a good hotel with friendly staff and very clean. We stayed in studio apartment suitable for wheelchair access which was good. Unfortunately no ramp access to pool area but this was'nt a problem for us as I am able to walk a short distance so managed to the pool with my wife's help.
Bar at the Hotel is expensive but we ate out all the time. Wine in local supermarkets quite reasonable
Unfortunately the government have decided to build a motorway approx 2 metres behind the pool area creating major noise and disruption, with diggers and lorries unloading and loading from 7 in the morning until 3-4 in the afternoon. We could't sit at the pool during this time because of the noise and dust and had to go down to the harbour for peace. They are also building flats to the side of the hotel where worked started around the same time in the morning. I advise anyone booked with the Paphiessa to check further with their travel agent. Felt sorry for reception staff as they were bombarded with complaints but were as helpful as they could be. Could not fault hotel in anyway.

Our family of 2 adults over 30, one 15 yr old, one 12 yr old and one 7 yr old, went for a late deal and ended up staying at the Paphiessa Hotel. When we turnt up it wasnt the best looking on the outside but looked very comfortable and had a very friendly atmosphere inside! The rooms were fine, good air conditioning,TV, bath/shower,2 beds, balcony was only small but this wasnt a problem for us. The swimming pool was ok, plenty of sun loungers round there and a small kiddy's pool too. There is also an indoor swimming pool across the road open to people staying at the hotel, also with a gym and a 2nd bar.The bar was quite small but again had a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The Bar staff were fantastic! Mohammed and Moslee were always willing to help out and were very friendly, also very good with my younger brother aged 7.If you go there say hello 2 them for me from Nikki. The entertainment in the hotel wasnt very good but there were plenty of bars with things going on just a few minutes walk away.If you sre planning on self catering there is a small supermarket across the road from the hotel which supplies you with everything you need. Location was ok, only a 10 minute walk to town, but the best beach, Coral Bay is further a field, takes 20 mins on the bus.Overall the hotel is brilliant and i would deffinately go back there again!

A friendly hotel, with very comfortable accomodation. Excellent facilities. Situated near enough to resort, without being noisy (10 minute walk on good, even, well-lit roads). Nice, clean outdoor pool, with plenty of sunbeds. Well informed, friendly staff.
