I travelled with a wedding party of 30 to the Golden Coast in Summer 2002.My first impressions were the cleanliness of the hotel and the sheer size of it.There were four floors with 2 lifts.
The rooms were based on 2 sharing but there were 3 in my room where a very comfortable camp bed was set up.
The pool area was also very large with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There were a set of about 30 steps which led you directly to the beach which was full of watersports and a small fishing harbour where you could book fishing and boat trips.
The location was ideal-it was only a 10minute walk to the local pubs and restaraunts. It was a 10minute cab drive to the lively Protaras and only 15minutes to Aya Napa.
We went all inclusive which was the only disappointing thing about the holiday. We did not get drinks or food free 24 hours and only between specified times. The restaraunt food was nice but there was not enough of choice for fussy eaters like myself and was often a set menu rather than a buffet.
However, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone who has ever wanted to visit Cyprus.

All in all a very nice Hotel, very noisy with the building work going on until 8pm.Food choice varied, well cooked and presented. Entertainment virtually non-existent,amateurish duo 'singing' live, but pretending to play keyboards!Staff friendly, helpful and effevtive. Linen changed daily which we found rather nice. Towels supplied from leisure club daily for use around the very clean pool.
2002 is the last year of all inclusive which my family find very good value therefore sadly we wont be returning
