First visit to Cyprus, and choose Mellini Apts for location, which was as brochure says very central right on main street in Protaras.
Excellent view from large balcony, apartment itself was quite spacious but looking a bit dated, although very clean.
Found staff very friendly and excellent well kept pool area.
Island affair restaurant was packed every night, food very good, also Rockefellers pub which belonged to complex was one of busiest bars in resort.
Would definitely stay there again.

this is a very good central hotel with great views and a pool to die for the only problem i had was the suprise of paying

Just returned from the melini appartments protaras and in my oppinion it was a disgrace.The shower was mouldy the kitchen was v.basic.The towels only got changed once every 3 days.We also werent put on a proper floor floor 'M', the maids floor.We payed alot for this holiday it was basically a slum. we will not be returning to these apartment and would advise others only to stay here as a late deal. The only good thing about these appartments were that they are central to the night life.

These are not the best apts we have stayed in in Protaras. Basic 3*. Could do with a good refurbishment all over I would say. New kitchens, bathrooms furniture etc. Balconys are naff unless you have a 2 bed apt. Just about enough room to stand at the rail and look out. The best thing about these apts I must say is the pool. I would have now complaints about that. Rocky waterfalls, pool cleaned out daily, good sunbeds with shaded palm tree areas. Pool is same depth all over. About 1.5m. Also there is a toddlers pool too. Location of these apts are perfect really. Central so not far from anywhere. Beach 2 mins across the road and bars and restaurants on your doorstep. But saying that we went there with another family, their first visit to Cyprus and we did have a really good holiday. But if we did go back to Protaras it wouldn't be in the August and I would go back to either the Alva Apts or the Brilliant which we have stayed in before and found these to be of better quality.

melini apartments are excellent very clean. food very good location very good hotel staff very helpful entertainment good and yes we would visit again we have been 3 times before

We stayed at Melini apartments Protaras and found the accommodation comfortable, clean and spacious with perfect sea view.
The location couldn't have been better so much so that we have booked to return in June this year with our daughter and grandchildren.
The staff were extremely helpful.
