The hotel was beautiful throughout and staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome. We were greeted by a friendly attendant on arrival who gave us a complimentary glass of fruit punch.
The pool was excellent and staff around the pool ensured your towel was always dry and came round to check if you required anything a few times a day (not in an intrusive pestering way).
There were even staff in the toilet who handed you a towel after you had washed your hands!
Our room had an excellent view of the pyramids and the pool. The pond in the front had flamingos in it which only added to the ambience.
The food was fantastic and, given the quality, very reasonable. I would recommend going to this hotel at any time of the year.
I must make mention of the gala dinner laid on for New Years eve. We did pay a supplement for this but we were not disappointed with a range of cuisines from around the globe laid on with chef's freshly preparing anything from pancakes to poppadoms.
