The hotel was fine but geared up to other holiday makers most are Russian. The food was mostly to there taste and was a disapointing as there was very little to that we liked and we are not fussy eaters. We were in Sharm in May this year and the food was better. The best food we had was the snacks in the beech bar.
The main areas of the hotel were clean but if you looked a bit closer it could do with a good deep clean especaly in the resturant and the rooms were dated.
The staff were fine no problems at all.
Entertainment was again for the russian folks with english translated songs in places.
We would not stay here again but would stay in the centre of Hurgarda which we visited twice.Lots more happening on a night.

Staff not very friendly or helpfull.Have to constantly tip to get basics which means having to carry money with you at all times.Food rarely hot and such strange mixtures.I did not meet anyone who had a bath or sink with plug.If this was my first trip to egypt would be very dissapointed. We enjoyed the pool area and met one or two brits,we done a boat trip booked locally which was great and got the shuttle into town to dosome shopping, but there are far nicer hotels then this one, bonus is right on beach

On arrival expectations were high with porter service of our bags directly to the room. The room was spacious and clean and the grounds of the hotel are spectacular.Pool area is excellent and never had problems finding a sun bed, on the odd days we did, we asked the pool attendants to find us a bed and they immediately found some for us, for a small tip of course.Daytime entertainment was ok although the activities weren't always suitable for a 7yr old. The main problem being that you had a kids club catering for under fives and then the other activities were really suitable for ten+,although my daughter tried her best to participate.Evening entertainment was the usual that can be found in any med hotel but only a weekly program so be warned if you're staying for a fortnight. The biggest let down was the food although most of it well cooked was lacking choice with chicken and more chicken, how many ways can a chicken be cooked? portion sizes from the chef serving meat couldn't even satisfy a child, and regularly had to go up for seconds and then to suffer dirty looks from the chef when you asked for more.Service of drinks and general table manners of the waiters was the worst we've experienced, not only did you have to wait ages for a drink but then waiters trying to be efficient would actually take away your glasses before you'd even finished the last mouthfull. The same with food the plates were whipped away as soon as you put your knife and fork down, alarmingly sometimes before you'd even finished eating. For an all inclusive hotel the hotel should have the restaurant as high priority.Location was great on the beach although not much beach to see as occupied by that many sun beds and windbreakers.Free bus to Hurghada and only a short walk to the shopping centre. Titanic water park being only over the road.Overall an average hotel and 1wk would have been enough as food and entertainment not a high enough standard.

All inclusive - great all inclusive package. Dining room open for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Breakfast started at 06.30 until 10.00. lunch 12.30 until 14.00. Dinner 18.30 until 22.30. Drinks in two of the bars, lobby bar and abu's pub until 00.30. All drinks were from 10.00am. Genie disco the most limited but never used it anyway AI drinks were 22.00 - 23.00 in there. Snacks were available at the beach bar for lunch if you would rather stay on the beach these were burger, hot dog and pizza served with chips. Salad bar or spaggetti bolognese. All main meals in the dining room were buffet style with a great range to suit all tastes. Drinks in the dining room were waiter service.
Hotel cleanliness - Spot on here, rooms cleaned daily, beds changed daily and towels. the rooms were a good size, we were 3 ladies and had ample space for hanging clothes. Our room overlooked the pool of the Ali Baba hotel next door. The balcony was a good size and the fridge was stocked with about 8 bottles of water daily. The reception and lobby area was beautiful, we chose to drink in here every night as it was comfortable with big sofas. The public toilets were immaculate, the cleaning boy was in and out of there all the time. The gardens were lovely and the grounds were kept very clean.
Hotel food - This is the best food I have had in Egypt. Buffet style meals and yes there was chicken every meal time, but this is normal in Egypt. But there was much much more than chicken, beef, duck, potatoes and veg. Also the chef cooked a pasta dish every night which was very nice. The salads too were lovely, with a good range of breads and the desserts were to die for!!
Hotel location - Fantastic! right on the beach. was well out of hurghada, which suited us fine, we had just been on a weeks nile cruise so all we wanted to do was to relax on the beach and Hurghada is such a big bustling city i prefer to be off the beaten track. There are two other hotels jasmine and ali baba one at each side of the aladdin. Both these hotels can be used by aladdin guests, just book at reception. We did not use them as we felt no need, however, we did have a walk through both and decided ours was better even though the ali baba is one star more. it is worth noting though that the jasmine has a little zoo, so might be nice for the children, the monkeys are dead funny. If you want to go into town there is a bus run by the hotel, cant comment though, didnt use it.
Hotel staff- Wonderful, friendly people, i did not see one staff member who was not friendly. They were so helpful too. My friend had a birthday while we were there and without asking they made her a big cake and sang to her at dinner. We trained our bar waiter with the drinks to put less vodka and more coke, the vodka is very strong and not measured. The boys on the beach were also very friendly, a small tip the first day got us prime sunbeds all week! Beach towels are not required, you are given a towel card on arrival and that gets you clean beach towels daily.
We all loved this hotel and the other people we spoke to felt the same, some had been there before. It is the most grand hotel i have stayed in in Egypt, very very impressed and cant wait to go back again!!!
