We booked a family room which was very small and totally inadequate. The bathroom was filthy and we had to ask for a move on the first night. Eventually we moved to a slightly larger room wich had a less than picturesque view of the electricity generating windmills at the front of the hotel and no balcony. At least it was cleaner. However, we did have to ask 3 times for an additional bed for our second child and waited 2 days for this to be set up in the room.
The hotels grounds are very nice and although you have to get to the pool with your towels before 8 am to get a bed there are always spaces on the beach. Generally the resort is a nice environment but it is very remote from the town.
The variety of food on offer was quite good, but from our own experience hygiene and cleanliness are very poor. Before I comment on this I must add that this is my 3rd trip to Egypt and I and my family have lived in the Middle East for a couple of years therefore we are not unaware of the does and donts when dealing with food in countries like Egypt. Two days before our return my daughter and wife began feeling symptoms of D & V. On our return home my daughter recovered very quickly but my wife after 3 visits to A & E was admitted to hospital and subsequently diagnosed with a viral infection know as Shugella Sanoi. This bug is transmitted by humans through food and as a result of poor pesonall hygeine. My wife spent a week in hospital and now over 3 weeks later she has still not recovered.
Entertainment is poor. Yes if you want to watch a load of teenagers with no personality mime and dance to some music then thats fine. Most of the entertainment is orientated towards the main clientlewhich is German and therefore understandable but there was no effort to get the customers involved and quite frankly it was boring.
Unfortunately I found Hurghada a dump to be frank. It may appeal to some but in fute should I venture back to Egypt Ill be sticking to the Sinai Peninsula.

We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay at this hotel.
The hotel, staff and locals are amazing. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but, El Gouna and Downtown Hurghada are only a short taxi ride away and the taxi fares are very reasonable and can be booked and paid for in the hotel.
The All Inclusive at the hotel is very good - self service soft drinks and water coolers dotted everywhere. The beer came from bottles and the local spirits and red wine were of good quality. The food was delicious.
Always a variety and always hot and well presented. We ate at the beach bar at lunch times and the main restaurant most evenings, apart from our two meals at the Italian (pre-bookable).
The rooms were kept very clean, the housekeepers were all men and worked very hard. Clean towls are left daily if you require them - all you have to do is leave your used ones in the shower and new towels would be left - usually in the form of a sculpture of two! Very clever.
You can hire pool/beach towels for a refundable deposit of 35LE per towel. I would recommend this as they are huge towels and the sunbeds do get very hot to touch!
The grounds of the hotel are green and luscious and gardeners work day in day out to maintain them. The pool areas are kept clean and there are quite a few sunbeds and parasols although in peak seasons they do get taken quite quickly. Our party were going down to the beds by 7.30am at the latest, however there were a lot of us to get beds together.
If you weren't able to get a bed by the pool, the beach always had plenty to spare all day long. Would recommend a boat trip, we hired a private boat for just our party which turned out to be one of the best days we had! The crew were lovely, we danced and sung, snorkelled, saw the dolphins and a turtle - a totally amazing day!
We also did a trip to the Valley of the Kings. A trip not to be missed!
All in all a brilliant holiday and we would definately go back.

Lovely hotel couldn,t fault it, lovely place for couples who just want to chill. Food at this hotel was excellent even at the beach bar/diner you got more than the usual chips & burgers.
Hotel was very clean, gardens well maintained. Location not near any town but most hotels in Egypt aren't. This hotel is a good base if you want to do a few trips like the valley of Kings or the pyramids.
Entertainment was the animated team who were ok, same as in any other hotel we have been in. Plus side there is a disco on till early hours which you dont get in all hotels, plus they still served the all inclusive drinks.
