hotel was very nice to look at, we had a twin room and a water bungalow of which both were very nice and clean.not enough sunbeds and some staff even reserving them to rent out to daytrippers.some staff seemed a bit ignorant, a new experience for me in egypt.never stayed in to see any entertainment.wouldnt stay here again as the hotel is too big and facilities too small, i.e. not enough sunbeds,never able to find a table at meal times and everywhere seemed to be a trek away.id like to say ive only mentioned the bad points and i did enjoy my holiday.

Had a fantastic time at Aqua Blu - we'd gone for a week of nothing but chatting and sunshine, we got both!!
The hotel's spotless, the staff were permanently on the go cleaning and tending the gardens
It's not too far from Naama Bay, but we never ventured further than the sister hotel's beach - once you know where it is, there's no point catching the free bus as you could be there in the time it takes to queue for it!!
AI food was fine, our favourite was the Indian/Med restaurant - the main one, Cave du Roi was very dark and extremely busy though served fantastic pitta breads straight from the oven
On the whole the staff were lovely, just the odd bar person with a bit of an attitude and the compulsion to serve beer in the smallest "glasses" possible lol - also tried telling us on occasion that they'd finished serving when there was still quarter of an hour left!!!
Given that we'd paid AI, tipping goes against the grain - however the cleaner was fantastic so we tipped him before we came away
Entertainment - only saw the animation team's kids show and though they tried their best, it was dire - so much so that it was a scream
In the daytime, these guys go all out to make sure everyone who wants to can get involved - 10/10 for effort and pleasantness!
The lifeguards are great too - friendly bunch
Only downsides I have to say [though only slight] are 1) the behaviour of some other nationalities who don't appear to hold good manners in high regard, but we didn't let it get to us lol 2) if you're looking for a good range of drinks on your AI package, you'll be disappointed - cocktails, fresh orange and "irish" coffee are all extra and have to be paid for
Would we go back? yes in an instant!
Did we get good value for money? undoubtedly
Would the kids like it? most certainly

This hotel was completly up to th standards of Namq bay
It Was Incredibly Clean there was always someone cleaning some where.
Quite Frankly the hotel staff were incredibly rude
Me and my partner eliza noticed that they didnt pay attention to our complaints , they wer ignorant and damn right rude
on a whole come stay here again.

loved this hotel, excellent value for money, We stayed here from 16/12 to 31/12. Had a really good room, well it was two actually with two bathrooms and two balconys. The food was typical AI, got a bit boring but was always something to eat. Usual problem with warm beer. The beaqch nearby had food lunchtimes that we all enjoyed. All in all a nice hotel and would visit again

The aqua park itself was great and definately worth a visit but i must stress as a day visitor!
Having visired Egypt before we found the people to be frileanendly they went out of their way to be helpfull we were shocked top find that the staff at this hotel were the rudest people i have ever met. The food in the restaurant was very poor and not labeled so most days you had no idea what you were eating. I must say the chinese chef was fantastic though. The place was clean and the rooms acceptable but not up to the standard of the park inn nabq bay.
