We stayed at the Coral Beach Tiran end of Feb 2005.
The staff are excellent and so very friendly. I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
We went on a B&B basis, and got a taxi most nights into Naama Bay food was great, beer about GBP2.00 cocktails GBP4.00 Taxi into Nama Bay from the Hotel was around GBP3.00 each way, and we got our taxi driver to pick us up at a certain time each night.
You must do the quad biking in the Sini, such good fun.
Location to Naama bay was about 5-7 mins from hotel.
We didn't really spend much time in the hotel of an evening, but they had a few shows on, one thing I must say is that there are loads of Russians and Italians, but this really didn't make any difference to us.
Would go back tomorrow we could we enjoyed this hotel and Egypt so very much.

I took my family to Sharm to complete our PADI open water course at the Camel Dive Club. The hotel was incidental but obviously we wanted somewhere reasonably close and we wanted to be on a half board basis.
The hotel is low rise and quite large so if you are down by the beach its a bit of a walk to the dining roon and reception area, The rooms were spacious and well equipped - it was nice to have air conditioning that was quiet.
The pools are freezing so I recommend the sea for a swim. The food is very good and varied as there are quite a number of different nationalities staying. What we saw of the entertainment was fairly typical of package holidays and not really for us but I think others seemed to enjoy it.
The taxi ride to Naama Bay is about 10-15 minutes and costs about

Stayed half board, food was good but could be a bit of a scrum in the evening particularly if you went to dinner soon as it opened. Did eat in town a few times, good food and cheap.
Hotel was very clean, certainly were not aware of any problems.
Location, for us, was good - far enough out that we weren't bothered by crowds etc in Naam but close enough that a 15 minute taxi ride got us into town.
Staff couldn't do enough for us; friendly, polite - not always the fastest but that'e the way of life (or maybe Ramadan had something to do with it).
Stayed away from the poolside entertainment during the day - there are three pools so it's easy to find somewhere quiet.
As for going there again - already booked for Nov 05!

I had an excellent time here.
Breakfast was nice however dinner was average but expected.
Staff were very friendly although beware of the tattoo bloke in hotel premises, I had some really bad allergic reactions!!

When we stayed at the Coral Beach Tiran it was absolutely amazing! The cleanliness was great, the staff are friendly and helpful.
There was some entertainment which was good. The rooms were very clean and of a good size. The food was good, my daughter is a vegetarian so she had a limited choice but we always managed to find something. We will definitly go back!!
