Hotel was disappointing. Supposed to be 5 star but more like 3. The grounds were nice and the layout good, but that is all. The food was awful, most of the time is was only just warm, the choice each day was the same, no variety whatsoever. Both people in party were ill, which I am sure is because of the standards in the Hotel.
Lots of guests we spoke to also complained about the food.
Avoid the poolside massages unless you take your own towels, as they use the same towels all day long for all the guests.
Not enough loungers either at the pool or at the beach, so you need to get up early.
All in all, not recommended, I am sure there are much better Hotels in the resort to stay at.

The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday. The claner also left a few bottles of water and coca-cola/fanta/sprite in the fridge.
They gave us more water when my boyfriend was ill. All the other parts of the hotel were also clean (we saw five men sweeping one small section of the path!)
You could pick faults with the food being repetitive but they prepared food in a different way every day. The breakfast was nice with freshly made omlettes, pancakes, continental breakfast, cereal, fruit. The salads at lunchtime were lovely and varied each day. The deserts were also nice with a large variety to choose from. They also had a section where the chef would be carving beef, or there would be duck, fresh shrimps etc each on different days.
The food was best if you got there as the buffet opened as it was always fresher and hotter early on, plus there was more to choose from. You could complain about the food being repetitive but how many people eat a different thing each day for breakfast or only eat potatoes once a week.
Lots of people have complained about sunloungers, we didn't have a problem finding one. Getting one in the shade could be tricky but we sometimes left the pool in late morning to go to the sea and there were always sunloungers free there. People do reserve them with towels but if you get there early 7amish you always get a place.
The hotel staff were nice, although in L'Opera House (buffet style) you were lucky to get one drink and I often had to go up and ask for one. Drinking in the day was fine as there were plenty of beach bars, pool bar etc open. The only problem was you did have to wait ages, and they were annoyed if you wanted beer as it took longer to pour. Also at the swim-up bar the bloke kept going off to collect glasses so you'd be sat there waiting for quite a while at times. But in the evening you only had the lobby bar and a small bar behind the restaurant.
Sounds bad, but this was really annoying, it was difficult to actually get drunk in the evening! The lobby isn't exactly a nice place to sit drinking, you get to sit there long enough when you are waiting for your bus to go home!
Most of the hotel staff were really nice, especially our cleaner. Some of the barstaff were rude if you were ordering lots of drinks.
Entertainment was ok in the day. The animation team teach a bit of belly dancing, and theres waterpolo, darts, stretching and water aerobics. At night, it was terrible! They had miss dreams and all the tacky stuff in the roman theatre. We tended to go to the bedouin tent where they served beer and played really good music mixed with terrible music! It was also played quite loud and was meant to be a disco later on but with a dancefloor in the middle, barely anyone wanted to get up and dance (it put me off!).
I probably wouldn't visit this hotel again, mainly because of the evening entertainment and the difficulty in getting a beer!
Another thing, the steps down to the sea are very steep and the slope was equally tiring when walking up in the middle of the day. I don't think elderly people would cope with the steps very well as they were steep and uneven. But if you are ok, the coral and fish are well worth the agony of climbing back up!!!
Also be prepared to get hassled by the pool to buy trips, reading a book or being deep in conversation doesn't deter them! Once you have booked one they tended to leave you alone! I may have made this hotel sound bad, I don't mean to as I did have a fab time there. But the lack of good entertainment and beer means I wouldn't go back!
However Sharm is great.

We were quite impressed with this hotel upon arrival as it was spotless and all the staff were eager to help with the luggage and checking you in etc.
After a couple of nights of eating the food and watching what is classed as "entertainment", I was quite disappointed.
The hotel grounds are lovely and couldn't be faulted and the staff are lovely.
The meals are very repetitive and not very warm.
After your meal you want a bit of entertainment but it is lacking at this hotel!!! There is a man who is pretending to play the keyboard whilst singing (quite badly) the same songs every night, and the animation team who were really quite bad!
The staff do work hard though and so deserve all the tips we gave.
I would rate this as a 3* at the most and not a 4/5*.

My Husband and I stayed at the Dreams Beach resort hotel in Sharm in February 2005 for 1 week.
The hotel is fabulous, very clean with the maid (a man!) coming in daily to clean the room, change the towels and bedding.
The food in the hotel was fantastic with a great choice in the main restraut, pool bar and includes 1 visit to the a la carte restaurant during your stay.
The hotel staff particularly the restaurant and beach bar staff and the man who cleaned the room were brilliant but the reception bar staff could have been a little more accommadating.
The entertainment of an evening was a little poor in the main reception bar with the same singer (who wasn't very good) every evening. I didn't sample the 'animation' teams activities but there was something on (eg disco, dancing, kareoke, etc) in the conference centre each evening.
The hotel grounds and beach area were excellent with a jetty going over the coral and brilliant snorkelling.
The pool was very good with a bar and food area and there is also a childrens' play area, a bedouin bar, a fish restaurant on the beach in the shape of a boat, tennis courts, shops etc.
All in all an excellent hotel which we would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be going back!!

Fantastic hotel ! Wonderful people ! Delicious food ! The only disappointment was that there was limited equipment for my son to use for sport i..e no footballs or golf balls.
The massage by the pool is so relaxing.
It cost approx

The food at this hotel was very good although the choice daily was similar, rice, pasta, beef, chicken and fish.
The hotel and resort was always very clean and we often found that the cleaners had left nice little touches in our room such as towels on our bed as swans etc.
The all inclusive board basis we felt was worthwhile and whether on half board or all inclusive you had the same choice in food.
The hotel location was good in that it wasn't too far to go into Naama bay and the views of the red sea and the coral were fantastic.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and very honest.
The only poor side was the animation team as they were very loud around the pool and in the evenings when the disco started, they tended to play the music they wanted and not the guests.

Everything about the hotel was perfect, except one thing. The Animation Team was awful. Every night when they'd finished their "show", they came to the Bedouin Bar and spoiled the atmosphere. They invaded the bar and played music, that only they wanted to hear, way to loud. They should go to a disco if they want to hear bad music, so loud that it's impossible for everybody else to talk. They should be kicked out of the resort or learn to respect other people.

With the exception of the slightly disappointing food on offer at this hotel we cannot find fault.
The rooms are clean and have everything that you need, anything that you need and isn't already provided the hotel will do their utmost to provide. Almost all if not all rooms have some form of sea view, but all are based around pretty areas of greenery ensuring pretty views from all balconies.
The staff are very well presented and look you wonderfully. They will make you feel very welcome and go out of their way to be as accommodating as possible.
The location is slightly out of the centre, but is very cheap and quick to get into the resort, although in all honesty apart from the food you may even find that you have all you need on site.
Daytime and evening entertainment is provided for all ages and tastes.
