We have just returned from a very nice stay at the Jaz club and would give 7/10.
The complex which is one of three on site is of good size but the Park and Beach sites adjoining are enormous.
The staff overall were very attentive and friendly and we were always greeted with a a nice smile by all.
The food to be fair was a bit bland and tended to be sameish but there was generaly something to be had on all meals.
Breakfast tended to be the same each day but was nice, the snack bars which you can use all over served the same things, open from 10 til 5 but the evening meals were very bland at times but again edible.
The beach is very close and is clean though beach shoes are advisable as a bit rough on the feet, one piece of sound advice don't go on the beach at night in the dark as we were pursued by a pack of rather nasty dogs (don't know if wild as didn't wait to see)
To snorkel go down the jetty of Hotel next door (

The Mirabel Club was spotlessly clean and the decor to a high standard. The rooms were fairly large with a bigger than average bathroom and nice balcony. The hotel staff were always polite and helpful. The food was fairly varied and unless you were particularly picky there would always be something that you would like even for children. Breakfasts were particularly good with lots of choice especially fresh fruit. The hotel is a fair distance from Naama Bay but as a family we did not find that a problem. I cannot fault this hotel at all except that although the beach was beautiful you could not swim or snorkel as the water is too shallow. A lovely beach however can be found 10mins cab ride away at Sharks Bay!!

The hotel itself was very well presented, with the biggest shower I have had abroad. The male "maid" could not do enough for you and delighted the children with his constant towel sculptures in the room.
The three hotels in this complex, the "Beach, Park and Club" whilst all on the same grounds which are all accessible, yet you cannot get drinks or use the dining facilities other than your specified hotel, unless your Italian who all seemed to be wearing multi coloured wristbands.
The food is a bit hit and miss. The guy doing the eggs and the snack bar in the afternoon gets my nomination for all round top guy, good with the children and always having a smile, and he can cook to boot.
In the restaurant the children’s menu was more of a draw than the main offering, but the pasta bar was ever there to bail you out.
Some of the waiters try really hard but they are up against it, and you feel that they need a little bit more direction from their managers. Point to make to those of you who want a nice cold beer, you could only get this at the restaurant between lunch and dinner, the other bars only had bottles that were left on the side or had only been in the fridge for a short while.
They always seemed to run out of things and not make much effort in sorting it out, basic things like cups, glasses, plates etc, and even to a point where the pool bar guy asks you to bring your glasses back or you will have to have throw away plastic cups.
Entertainment is, Non Existent, Cheesy German kids trying to emulate "Steps" the pop group, but they did look like they were enjoying themselves, all they seem to do is run after each other round the pool and when they were not doing that they were doing really Nafgames like (Throwing the ball in the bucket), highlight of my day.
Do not take the water from the mini bar in the room, this is the same water, make, size, contents, as you get from over the bar, they will try to charge you for this when you check out. You have been warned.
The hotel could be really nice, but they do have some work to do to make it worthy of a return.
I will return to Sharm, but at another hotel endorsed by others.
