Hi me and my family stayed at the Golden Resort in Sharm I would recommend this hotel to anybody who is thinking about going to Egypt I have been to Egypt twice Feb and now just got back last night with first choice.
Brilliant my daughters loved it.
We had two rooms spotless.
Food brill.
Location just over the road very quiet road not busy at all.
Staff can not do a enough for you we had a ball of a time pools/ bars/beach /shops brill going back again with my brother who went there in June.
We have no complaints about the hotel what so ever/enterainment bingo/singing.

The hotel we found was clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rooms where a nice size beds comfy sheets and towels when left on floor were changed for new ones
cleaning staff all males great at makeing birds and stuff with the towels.
Two pools for adults clean and well kept all the grounds were very well kept at the back of the hotel.
Where the few shops are there was a childrens play area with loadsa stone and wooden scultures of animals
and when ya round the back have a look at the top of the pilon thats there be very surprised to see a
huge eagle of some type.
Getting to the beach can be fun if you take the
complimentry bus the drivers are crazy singing and stuff and before you know it your joining in it takes longer to get on the bus than it does to walk there, lol but if you cant be bothered.
Buses leave approx every 5 mins(walking down is worth a go as you walk through the SAS Radison Gardens are better than the Golden resort only as they are more mature
very tranquil down at the beach bar that serves food between 10.30/11 o clock and again after 3 till about 6
mainly snacks but they all are a good laugh.
Walking on the coral is a big no no the staff try and tell all visitors not to walk but some either dont understand or just ignore them.
The beach is vey sandy careful late afternoon the sand is red hot there is alittle bay where you can snorkle and swim evan though the water is not very deep there is a variety of fish you can see from the side but evan better when ya snorkellling.
The staff will cover you if you fall asleep so you do not get burnt...there is a pier that you can walk along to swim can get busy with everyone wanting to swim and snorkle.
The entertainment is a bit cheesy...nights in the bedawin tent can be good ..try going to fantasia for a night out (not Disney world but well worth a go).
Taxis are fun and scary get a limo bit more money
but very comfortable. Limo is a new car most taxis are old Peugeot 504 very bumpy as is the windows open
got loadsa pics of hotel and round by the beach
we enjoyed ourselves so much was going again this year.

Me and my partner stayed at the Golden Resort in July.
We arrived at Golden Resort and the staff could not do enough for you.
They escort you to your room, then within 5 minutes a bell boy is there with all your suitcases.
The room was immaculate, and cleaned everyday (inc bedsheets). Towels were changed everyday and they would even make us love hearts out of towels and lay them on our beds.
Towels were also provided for us at the Pool and Beach, we always managed to get a sunbed - No matter what time of day it was.
Food was great - Allday. At breakfast there was everything you could imagine, and also a chef cooking you an omelette of your choice.
Throughout the day you get chance to have a snack of Rolls and chips etc.
The evening meal was a different theme everynight, i.e: Arabian, Italian, Mexican etc. Our favourite was Tuesdays - they would move everything from the restaurant into the Boudouin Tent (Entertainment Area) for us all to enjoy the egyptian food, Kebabs, Pitta Breads. They'd also have a camel there doing rides for you.
We couldnt praise the staff enough, they were all so friendly and loved the English - They all had a good sense of humour also.
Entertainment throughout the day was Darts, WaterGym, Water Polo etc, we found the evening to be very limited. Although we were happy to have a drink at the pool bars, then finish our night in the panaramo bar.
Or if you fancied going to Naama Bay there was a bus every 2 hours.
The beach was also lovely and the snorkelling is amazing.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, we will definately be going back to Sharm El Sheikh but in about 5 years time when the whole resort is completed, as it is still only in the early stages of development.

Hotel was fairly new when we stayed there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was first class and the facilities were good.
We did feel a little isolated as it was a 10-15 min taxi ride to the nearest town of Naama Bay so, as we were staying for a fourtnight, we decided to spend a few days in Cairo (well worth a visit).
The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard.
The hotel is only about 20 mins from the airport so we could hear planes flying overhead quite frequently, but this did not bother us at all.
The sister hotel to the 'Golden Resort' is just accross the road where you can use all the facilities (and this hotel is on the beach).
All in all if you are after a chill out and a relaxing time its well worth a visit.
