The hotel was lovely and clean, our room was spotless and there are staff around 24/7 cleaning the grounds, and pools. We tipped the cleaner on the first day and then again when we were leaving, he made towel art in the room most days which was nice.
The food is very repetitive but it was hot and edible, you cannot be too fussy, you will always find something to eat, there is a BBQ option which is always good. You can have a fresh made omelette in the morning and there is the pasta bar in the evening where you can add your own ingredients to the pasta and sauce. The Al a Carte restaurants were good at times, the Mexican was the best. There is always McDonalds and KFC down the road.
The transfer from the airport was 20 minutes, we booked our transfers in the UK and it was really easy, there are taxi's you can use and it is very cheap, but make sure you ask the price before getting in the taxi and that it is in Egyptian pounds as they will try and say it is in English pounds and it will become an expensive taxi ride.
We found 99% of the staff to be very friendly and helpful, they work very long hours for very little pay but they were polite and smiling. We tipped if we wanted to, we never felt we had to or that it was expected, the bar staff are only paid the equivalent to £30.00 a month so they are always grateful to tip, even 5 Egyptian pound (70p) was gratefully received.
The Animation Team were new to the hotel but never the less they made you feel welcome, if you didn't want to join in that was fine they didn't bug you, but you were always asked, there are 2 British girls on the team Gemah and Gabby who were great, Coco and Mac have so much energy that it is infectious, we will miss our time with them. There is a show in the evening at 10pm that are good for the whole family, they do a comedy night and it is one of the funniest things I have seen for a long time.
We have already booked to go back there in February and we can't wait.
Holidays are what you make them and we went to Sharm with no pre ideas of what we wanted to do so we took it day by day, and we had a great time.

Where do i start.. I have never left a review before as i feel that people need to find out for themselves what a place is like, but I have to on this one. On arriving the hotel looks great, clean and massive, loads of pools, we arrived late evening about 10 o clock. We went straight to the dining room (we nicknamed it the canteen) where we had a bit to eat, we thought that because of our late arrival that we had to make do with what was left, not nice to say the least, everything was grey.
Now to one of the good points we headed to the magic bar (ice bar) air conditioned , waiter service brill. Then we went to our room which smelt of sewage. In the morning i asked to be moved as it was making us ill, after trying to clean the room with no luck. They eventually moved us to another room....breakfast was OK but no cold juice (which by the way they make up with tap water). But the toast, tea, omelets and pancakes were nice. Lunch is chips and hotdogs (OK) dinner was horrid, but the a la carte's were nice.
Now the staff, I have never wanted to punch anybody on holiday before but some of the staff came very close. Their attitude was terrible and the service even worse. Warm drinks, half a cup of beer, no ice, just couldn't be bothered.most evenings we ate out. McDonalds (deliver to the hotel) TGI Fridays, onions.3 crowns, Chinese, spent a fortune on food in the 14 days we were there. We also all had bad stomachs for a couple of days all 10 of us so did everyone we talked to in the hotel. All anybody is interested in is whether they are getting a tip or not.
You have to be up at 5am to get a bed around the pool unless you pay the pool boy to get them for you, but be warned they change pools often so you have to pay the new pool boy. Entertainment is nil. Airport not far about 20 minutes transport but you have to fill in a form which holds you up a bit but not too much.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, they are building new rooms and a new reception as we speak- They cannot manage the hotel properly as it is god knows what it will be like when they have more guests. Weather fantastic, 40 degrees in the day and 30 degrees in the night. Not a cloud for 14 days. So to sum up if you like hot weather, warm drinks, cups half full, bad stomachs, mcdonalds, tipping, no air conditioning in dining room and no entertainment then this is the hotel for you. Best of luck.

I'll start from the very beginning upon arrival at the airport as we wanted to go home in the first 10 mins of landing!!
Arrival -
On entering terminal 1 we were given a health check card to fill in surrounded by signs on swine flu, no pens though so I would recommend one. We filled all the details out and gave it to the men waiting for the completed sheets and headed up the stairs and herded into the visa queue and told we had to use a specific man even though the other man had no people in his queue. We got our visa stamped it cost 26 gbp for 2 stamps, we then went through passport control(massive queue)and I think we gave them the sheet we had filled in on the plane. Through to baggage claim then arrivals hall.
We had booked our transfers and excursions through sharm excursions before we left the uk and were surprised that there were 4 people collecting us in a shuttle bus, we were very worried!! We left the airport and passed our hotel as the roads are all one way and did a u turn to get to it. The transfer man took us into the hotel, leaving our luggage outside and went straight to the front of a large queue and we were dealt with first. They photocopied our passports and gave me a form to fill in before giving us the room key and the all inclusive info sheet and wristbands. We were told to leave our cases outside and someone would take them to our room and then pointed in the direction of our room, we couldn't find it as it was dark and had to ask a tourist who took us to our building.
The room was large and had a massive bed, first impressions were very good. The man bought our cases and as we were on the top floor we gave him an English 10 pound note, he shook my partners hand and looked like he was going to cry (we never saw him again during our stay) saying thank you thank you. Then we went to explore and find the bars, easier said than done!!!!
We eventually found one and made some friends from Manchester in the La Veranda bar, there was a decent cocktail list and the measurements were really good as they just poured them into the glass or cup. On the first night we tried all of the cocktails even inviting the barman Amr to have a drink with us.
The all inclusive is split into two bands, yellow is all inclusive and green is ultra all inclusive meaning the bar is available after 12 and you could eat in the restaurants every night, we had a green band, although we didn't book ultra all inclusive as far as we know.
We went for breakfast on out first day and i tried an omelette but it wasn't cooked in the middle which I put down to the large queue of people waiting. We only had breakfast twice more during our two week stay.
We went and fetched our towels using the cards the reception had given us and then got some loungers by the pool.
The bars opened at 10 and the starfish bar did snacks from 12 until 5.30, which were burgers, hotdogs and chips, then pizza from 3pm which was mostly ok. We had dinner from the main restaurant a few times but mainly had the snacks. Flies were really annoying but its Egypt what can you expect. Tea was better as there were no flies and mostly a better selection, on our last night there was steak on the BBQ.
Our room was cleaned everyday and was really nice especially the towels shapes, although I was hoping for a crocodile and none came.
The staff were really helpful and we found there to be enough of everything to go around.
The Russians were very rude people and acted as if they own the place, demanding drinks and food and cutting in the queues, the staff tried to ignore them and served the people who were there first but when there was an aggressive one then they served them to get them out of the way.
The hotel shops are really nice, there is one near reception selling gifts and drinks etc then some down near the health club, the papyrus man was really nice he made us some tea( after initially scaring us by taking us into the shop and turning the lights off, this was ok though as he just wanted to show us that the papyrus glowed in the dark, he also likes to joke and doesn't really want to kill you!!!)
We gave occasional tips of 5egp and this was really appreciated, when we didn't have change or thought they deserved more we gave them more.
We ate at the Italian once and the food was awful but the oriental was really nice, if you go on the starfish roof at around half 5 in the evening you will be able to watch the sunset which was really nice.
Reception was helpful, my fiance broke his wristband and they replaced it no problem.
All the pools were nice and clean, freezing water though.
The entertainment wasn't brilliant there was a kids disco every night then the entertainment started at 10, we saw the spinning man 5 times and he spun for about an hour each time! The entertainment finished at 11pm then the space disco at the Rehana Royal started this was free to enter but drinks weren't free.
The tunnel to the beach was nice and had music in it and when you came out the other side there were shuttle cars going up and down and they took you the rest of the way. The beach was very gravelly but had a beach bar which was included in all inclusive. The coral was slippy and sharp so its easier to buy water shoes from the hotel shop for 30egp.
All the loungers by the pools and the beach had mattresses and there were plenty to go around although sometimes there weren't enough parasols.
The animation team were really nice, but the health spa people were a bit annoying as they didn't like to take no for an answer, I would definitely go back to the Rehana Sharm resort.

The Rehana Sharm Resort is a lovely family resort but it is ruined by a massive shortage of basic items such as Cups Plates Glasses etc The staff are overworked hence the shortage of SERVICE. Drinks are served warm Beer is served warm There is a total lack of Refridgeration in all of the Bars. Ice is at a premium and i meen premiuum as you have to tip to see any Ice.The food is the usual all.inclusive rubish but you can always find something. All 5 in our party were ill and we rarely have a problem. In fact most people we spoke to had been to the chemist. I think the problem lies in the pools which had to be shut and cleaned which never happens. We complained like many others but got no where. We wont go back even if it's free.

Hotal looks very nice and clean ,rooms are a good size, gardens and pool area is very clean but there is a shorted of sunbed around the pool area for the amount of people who use it in the morring !!!!. food is very very poor ,some time there was no clean cup to drink your morring tea in !!!, and you would have to clean table before you got you breakfast. There was never a enough staff on the all bars day or night. The weeks we were there a lot of english people all had a bad tums which lasted about 4 days !!! there is a chimist over the road which can help !!! As we booked a all inclusive holiday we did not expect to have to go out and pay to eat most night of our holiday .This hotal is not 5 star it should be " 2/3star only ".

We had a great 2 weeks here- just had a few problems like 1st night having a small room and sleeping on wooden sunbeds with a room full of giant red ants running around and having a pool party in our drinks. Finally got settled by are 4th room by the 2nd day,I'm just really fussy but they were willing to please. I also got the bad case of the trotts, really don't think it was anything to do with the food. The climate had alot to do with it being 45 and over also everyone saying drink more liquid in this heat...talk about flushing the system out???
The gardens I'm sure were watered by the hotels sewage waste as it really stunk at times:-(.
Also I hate to say we had 3 items that went missing while I was there as we had them at the begining of the holiday.
Thats the worst bit over.
I now people don't like to tip in an AI hotel but here it will benifit you alot just an odd couple of
