I have been to this hotel many many times, trying to guess how many, and it’s about 15ish.
I walked into the Sierra to be met by professional concierge with a welcome drink and a refresher towel, ideal after a day in bhx airport and a plane. Check in was quick and informative, reception was lovely, at the time I didn't know but they had just installed all new furniture and the leather sofa I sat on was probably too comfortable. I am a huge people watcher and whilst checking in all I witnessed was smiles and laughter, between staff, management and guests. This is always a good indicator and I felt I had made the right choice. I was shown to my room by concierge who gave me a tour on the way so I had my bearings straight away. Perfect.
My room was lovely, spacious, good air con, just been decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very powerful shower immaculate in every way.
I had most of my meals in the Mountain View restaurant. Food was presented beautifully, plentiful and tasty. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. No one would ever go hungry here, if anything I am now on a diet for xmas. I went to the Chinese in Soho and the food bill came to about 15 pounds a head and the food was top notch, service was amazing and the views out to Soho were stunning.
I mixed days between the spa pool, stunning, quiet and mainly adults. And the main pool that has a full animation programme, music, laughter and the best pool bar staff ever. I felt wonderfully relaxed and part of something special. All the staff really go that extra mile to make you feel welcome. Even the little old gardener man I loved him and my morning conversation with him made my day.
Guest relations were on hand to book anything I wanted, spoke to me and offered quality advice. These girls are very professional and everything was perfect.
The all inc bars are amazing. They have just changed the hours so you can be in Soho square all inc till 1am which is great as it’s a change of location but still in your all inc allowance. This is a huge added bonus to the Sierra.
I have been racking my brains as to negatives........ And I am trying hard.... the only thing I can think of is coming home!!!! It was that bad I am now looking to book xmas or new year.
On summing up my holiday I would say relaxing, amazing staff, fantastic location, full facilities, on-going plans/ improvements and the best all inc programme I have come across so far.
Top marks to the sierra management team. You will be highly recommended by me and I will be back soon.
