Housekeeping slapdash, broken safe and mugs missing, we had to call reception. Pool not like the pictures, very dilapidated look. Service was not 4 star. Reception clean but furniture a bit dilapidated on closer inspection. Staff patient but when we arrived it took 5 repeats of I want a room with 4 beds not bed boxes or sofa beds for housekeeping to understand our request. Glass door to bathroom no extractor fan or window. Window in room very high so room was very dark.
Restaurant slapdash, sauce missing from main course. Bed was like sleeping on a door. Then to breakfast, hard bacon and fried eggs gone hard because they sat in heated tray for too long. All food was buffet style and not very good.
Got money back for food but would not refund Ā£20 for drinks. The bar was noisy and not very nice as was like a cross between basic premier inn (beds better in premier inn) and a Toby carvery and I feel this does both a disservice.

Hotel tip: Don't go here. 4 star hotel it is not. Room was not very big and we had upgraded to a deluxe room.
