Stayed in Lodge with hot tub which was well maintained and clean. The lodge itself was slightly tired. The couch did smell of cat urine.
The activities for children were poor and not organised, half the arcades didn't work, the shop wasn't well stocked. The garden areas need attention as do some of the lights need replacing. This place as loads of potential with an injection of cash and a good strong management team with drive and enthusiasm needed.
Staff were helpful when asked. Couldn't stay here again some of the attractions to far to travel.
Overall rating three out of 10.

This camp site is warm and welcoming and is located close to the banks of the Solway Firth with its vista across to Scotland. Drive for an hour south and you are in the Lake District with its spectacular views and the lakes.
The site is great for people of all ages, pets are welcome, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The site provides well equipped modern accommodation both chalets, lodges and caravans.
Facilities include swimming pool, gym and children’s play area, there is also a bar with entertainment and a food outlet providing take away and eat in. There are holiday homes for sale as well as two residential areas for the over 50s.
