We visited stanwix park for a last minute break with hoseasons. We have never been to a caravan site before and had no idea what to expect so our expectations were not high.
We arrived an hour earlier than expected but were given keys to our caravan straight away by a very friendly receptionist who gave very good directions to our caravan. All of the staff we met on our 5 day stay were all friendly and welcoming and never lacked a smile.
The park itself was immaculate very well looked after and has obviously had a lot of money spent on it. There were 3 entertainment venues 2 were adult only and then the sunset family lounge for families.
The entertainment is very child orientated and all the little ones had a great time our children are older but never the less enjoyed relaxing and making new friends.
There is a small playpark on site, an outdoor swimming pool (closed outside summer months)and a lesuire complex with bowling alley, swimming pool, sauna, solarium, jacuzzi, cafe and the entertainment bars.
There was also a small shop with basics but in silloth there is a spar and a co-op.
All in all we hoped for a stress free relaxing break and that is exactly what we got. Even thinking about booking a few days this summer. I would recommend the park to anyone.
