we have just come back from a weeks holiday at watermouth lodges and were really impressed, lodge was the best accomodation weve stayed in, far more in the lodge than was stated in the brochure. Food was excellent and resonable, and were happy that there wasnt a club on site just somewhere to relax. The only negative was that the shop could of been bigger and we should of been allowed in our lodge earlier than the 4pm check in although this applies to most holiday sites, just feel one day of your holiday has gone by 4

The accommodation consists of log cabins all surrounded by trees and natural habitat. The cabins are all very clean and kept well and they offer everything you need for a self catering holiday.
The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
There is a delightful indoor swimming pool and outdoor swimming pool with sun terraces.
The bar and restaurant offer very good food if you do not feel like cooking yourself. I cannot say about entertainment because by the time we have had a day out and finished off with a swim all we need is a meal and relax in our accommodation.
We are going back this year which says it all.
