Arrived to a cheery greeting from the helpful staff at reception, where the children were offered some sweets. The layout of the hotel was explained, and our cases were taken to our room on the 3rd floor. We had requested a quiet room, and this was granted. The room was large with a king size bed and 2 pull out beds. It was spotlessly clean & had a large writing desk, plenty of cupboard space, and plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe. There was a safe and a mini fridge stocked with water. There was also a hairdryer, ironing board and iron.
The bathroom was a decent size and equipped with a selection of toiletries and sparkling white towels.
Breakfast was served between 7 & 11, and there was a large selection, full English, croissants, pastries, meat & cheese, fresh fruit & cereal and toast. The dining room wasn't very big, so I would imagine that when the hotel was full, there might be a wait.
There was a pleasant bar, into which well-behaved children were allowed after 9.30 pm, all children were allowed before this. For London, the prices were ok.
Although we didn't use it there was a modern techno gym.
The closest tube station was Euston, which was around 75 yards down the road, as was the main bus station. It was simple to get to any part of central London from this base.
We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
