This hotel is currently ungoing a large refurbishment programme. Consequently the view out of my window was of a very ugly building site. The was a great deal of noise going on until about 1930hrs. The room I was in was in great need of refurbishment. The lifts are the slowest I have ever encountered.

All in all this is not a pleasant hotel to stay at. It is certainly not a 5 star standard - more like 3 star at present.
