A great hotel to stay at. Rooms are clean and bright and airy, food is good, the staff are wonderful. Especially the barmen, such a pleasure to stay there.

I actually stay a few times throughout the year. The only hotel in Blackpool I will stay at. I also do my yearly line dance event at the Savoy. Awesome Hotel. Awesome Management and awesome staff.

I did my Tribute Linedance here in April. I do it every year at the Savoy. Excellent hotel and staff. Food is good, very welcoming. Very warm atmosphere. Perfect place for my Event.

Hotel tip: The best rooms are the suites. The Doubles and Twins Blackpool Town is fun. My fave restaurant is the Thai restaurant Boonaks. And the clubs and pubs. Flying handbags. Funny girls

Stayed at the Savoy for Valentines break, could go on at length about everything that was wrong, but it wouldnt do it justice. My advice; if you are going on a coach trip with a load of retired friends and its already organised then you dont have any Choice, the terrible food and abysmal rooms are already yours, but if you are thinking about going under your own steam then please dont, its awfull, truly terrible and not only a waste of money, but more importantly a real waste of quality time when you could be staying somewhere half decent at half the price.

The reception area did not prepare us for what was to come. It seemed quite well organised and the staff polite. We were on the third floor and when we came out of the lift the carpet was dirty and did not look as if had seen a vacuum for some time. It did not get any better when we went in the room. We had paid for a better room and was told that the hotel had recently been refurbished! It was tired, dingy, and dirty. Fixtures and fittings were 'past their best', the shower struggled to get luke warm, the windows were filthy, there was no heating and when it rained it rained in! In fairness most of the staff tried to be helpful but did not seem to be supported by their senior management. We were refunded our upgrade supplement and offered a complimentary stay in compensation however we will not be going back again.
