It is only about 150 yards from the South pier right on the sea front. Viking Hotel is ideal for couples (as it is adults only) we paid £159 each for 5 nights All Inclusive which included 3 course dinner, bed and breakfast, lunch, free bar from 11am till midnight giving you a choice of brand name drinks such as Carlsberg, Tetley, Smirnoff and Bells. Any drink that was not on the all inclusive was only £1.
The rooms where clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities, TV and an en-suite. The breakfast was all you can eat, good old English breakfast buffet, lunch was a bit hit and miss with not much choice but the evening meal was fantastic with a good choice of menu and everything cooked and presented to a high standard. After the evening meal you could go downstairs to the Talk of the Town. Although it was open to the public as well you were given good acts from comedians to singers and oh yes a game of bingo to start the evening. For all you guys with kids you can still get the same deals at the Cliffs and the Clairmont as it is the same chain of hotels.
