Please note this is my snapshot of my stay on 13th June 2019. I want to point out there was building work going on during my visit and I have allowed for this in my review.
Love the High-Tech self-service booking in. So whilst the receptionist is dealing with other guests.
What I do not like is the receptionist interrupting the guest she is with and shouting across the lobby and asking what room were we in? I chose to shout back the wrong room number. So I apologise if you were in room 403 and found you had things charged to your room you didn’t know about. The lobby was busy so about 20 people heard.
I won’t bore you with the other bad service issues with the hotel. But I share with you the photos from stay. I’m not saying it was dirty but I actually wouldn’t use the bath or shower. So cancelled my day in Blackpool and went home for a bath.
I like to think I’m a nice down to earth man so I decided to speak to housekeeping and the Duty Manager. I think I was more embarrassed than the staff about this. So after speaking to the Duty Manager I asked for a call back about my concerns. I didn’t get a call back.
Four working days and several chats with the team on Twitter and still no calls or emails from the Hotel Management or Customer Service team.
If you decide to stay I hope my review and my discussions with Village Hotels management team will make your stay better than mine .
