Stayed here on business for a week, and whilst tthe hotel is set in beautiful grounds, it is not geared up for business use.
There is insufficient space in the rooms to use a laptop, although there is free wi-fi. It is very hard to get a mobile phone signal so you have to walk into the car park (which is too small) to make and recieve any calls.
The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. I had to change rooms a couple of times, due to a hotel mix up and the room I ended up with had no heating. They were unable to fix this and had to provide me with a fan heater.
They had a terrible fly problem when we were there, with staff running around corridors with flyspray.
The food in the restaraunt was dull, repetitive and over priced. The one positive was that all the staff were very helpful, polite and courteous but that would not be enough to tempt me to go back, even if the room was free.
