We stayed after a work party that was held at the hotel in a standard room that was supposed to be discounted as part of the package with the party. The room was in need of a clean with a thick layer of dust under the bed and wardrobe, the bathroom had mould around the bath and the bed was damaged and been poorly repaired.
The prices for food and drink were expensive and not aways good quality. We did not get what we expected with a hotel of it's reputation, left very disappointed and would never visit there again.

The hotel needs money spend on it and needs to send the staff on a customer service training course.
The bathrooms were awful, toilets had not even been cleaned from the previous guests, bedsheets had not been changed!.
The staff were rude... did not want to hear complaints.
Probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

This is the most famous and oldest hotel in Liverpool. This hotel also featured in the famous docu soap called hotel.
I got my room online via a website.
The hotel lobby is nice and old fashioned and has that 1920s feel to it.
Sadly the hotel needs some money spending on it as its a bit worse for ware. The bathroom was not the best nor was my view of a courtyard with other rooms was not the best.
I would say my stay was average.
Sadly the hotel is no longer what it once was.
