The Fairhaven Hotel is a lovely cozy friendly hotel in Goathland. It is in a good position for you to enjoy the North York moors and the steam railway.
When we arrived we were given a very friendly wellcome from the owners, this hotel is family run and it shows, they could not do enough for us and made our stay a very pleasant one. Although they mainly do B&B you can on certain days get a very good 3 course evening meal, even us being vegetarian did not pose a problem for them and the food was very good.
There is a large lounge with a log fire where you can read or play board games. The bedrooms were kept very clean and warm.
All in all we had a lovely stay at the Fairhaven and even though we have only been home a couple of days we have allready booked to go back for later in the year.
