The location was near the Aqua Sana.
The villa was unreal, it had its own sauna, and very spacious. The maid service was great, and they were very friendly.
The prices remain high, for accomdation and activities. There are some good value cheap options which we enjoyed - Woodland awakening, pentaque, bowling, etc.
The new grand cascade was dissapointing, but something new to try.
Once again we had a great holiday, action packed, with not a bad word to be said about the resort.

I stayed in a 3 bed Executive villa with my wife, 2 kids (6 and 2) and my parents.
On arrival we was processed at the arrivals lodge within 2 minutes and told the gate was open and we could go direct to the villa and unload the luggage.Once unloaded we took the car back to the main car park and then hired cycles for the weekend.
The villa was a single story terraced building that was cladded in wood.Inside was the open plan living area with 2 x 3 seater sofas, a dining table and the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with small fridge, oven.grill/hob,microwave and dishwasher. All cutlery and crockery is supplied. The daily maid service brings dishwasher tablets and tea towels as required. There was also a lovely stove in the lounge which uses special logs that you get from the supermarket and each last for about 3 hours.
The bedrooms all had ensuites with showers over baths and one had a spa bath. The showers were actually very powerfull. You also get hairdryers,tv's in each room and a sauna accessed from outside. It was very clean on arrival and the daily maid service did any washing up and bed making etc.I felt it did lack the wow factor I was expected for an executive level, with 2 comfort levels below it did leave me feeling a slight disappointment.
Once settled in we rode around the site to familiarise ourselves with the place. On the whole it is pretty easy going for cycling with only a few places that caused a sweat to be raised. The centre square is the main communal area with various restaurants, shops, cafe's, the swimming complex and ten pin bowling.
The supermarket is very well stocked and not at all overpriced as I had expected. We pre-ordered a grocery pack for

we love CP we have been to all 4 UK parcs and DeEemhof once in Holland. Longleadt is the most beautiful, Sherwood next, then Elveden -long drive, and last Whinefell, ex Oasis. The latter was built and run by Rank prior to CP buying site a few years ago. WF has some improvements to go, needs much more forest and nature walks etc.
If you love CP please write their CEO Martin Dalby, this week, as appeal pending, to support the appeal process for Warren Woods. The more guests support the application the more chance the appeal will pass. Thenwe get a 5th UK parc within 2 yrs.
Kids love CP, it is safe, quiet, and not at all like Butlins or similar. There is NO CLUB HOUSE, no huge arcade. Just piece and quiet, unless you want the activities at the Sports Centre or treatments at the Spa. You do have to pay for quality though.

The supermarket is well stocked, some prices the same as the high street, others dearer. We prebooked a few activities, which I would advise, or you may be disappointed or have to endure a long wait. The childrens academy lessons and fitness classes were very well run.
On the down side - unfortunately the center is not immune to theft so take strong locks for your bikes and look after your personal belongings when out and about, we had something stolen from the jardin de sports. Also I wish they could do something about the groups of teenagers who seem to be able to get themselves booked into the village, I suppose it only takes one 18 year old to book a villa for 6 yobs, the high prices don't seem to deter them, they take great pleasure in cycling on the wrong side of the road intimidating pedestrians and also we did see evidence of vandalism.
Overall though we really enjoyed our break, Sherwood is a nice easy parc to get around, there is plenty for all ages to do and we look forward to visiting again in the near future.

The villas have just been refurnished and are very good
the pool has a new water ride and is excellent we spent most of the day there.
We ate out on one night the food was good with a wide choice of places to go.
We love Sherwood Forest we travel 3 hours to get even. The Longleat is only a hour away.
Cannot wait to go back!

Just got back from our Christmas stay at Sherwood Center Parcs, we took 1 x Exclusive 4 bed/5 bath/sauna/steam and hot tub, and a 3 bed Comfort villa.
Between the two villas this bedded all 14 in the 3 families - a great way to meet up when familiy groups have to travell from all over UK.
Sherwood has now built 10 extra Exclusive villas - the original 4 have the older steam room (plastic, with radion, not tiles, no radio, as the newer villas. The newer also have LCD tv in all bedrooms and a plasma in lounge.
Still have the fake effect fire though, wish it was open fire with logs, as all other villas.
Had a great weekend
Sherwood did for 1st time a Santa grotto - really good, staff (elves great) santa gave loads of time, over 10 min per child (necessary for photo developing time). Also did a Xmas panto. Both great, hope they continue each year.
Some families ignored the prebook rule, clearly shown on info pack, and still turned up - on speck - demanding to see santa. Big rows, (poor elves), these people seemed to think they could just walk in, jump lines, make those who had booked wait longer.
Perhaps Center Parcs in starting to attract this type.
Already rebooked Xmas 06, of the 12 Exclusives, only 5 left now for Xmas 06 !!!!
Oasis - booked for March 06 - told Burger King cloased.
Elveden - stayed Sept 05 - All in one Dome now changed, after their fire, they rebuilt parc center similar to Sherwood - split. Also building pancake house - good news, as CP history is the Dutch pancake house.
